Guys, please stop. It does the opposite of what you think. Here’s a good rule of thumb: Take a look at your comment before you hit send. If you’re not ok saying that same thing to me, or any male artist - just imagine a dude, 6’2”, hair past shoulders, tight ass jeans (leather if you prefer), just a few tattoos ;), with a pre CBS strat in hand (cuz I don’t leave that shit on stage)… if you’re not comfortable saying the same comment word for word to a male artist then don’t say it at all.
It’s a goddamn crime what female musicians and producers must go through to pursue their art. Imagine if every business email you received, the first thing you had to so was decide if legit or some creep that wants to lock you up in his mom’s basement.
