    Just got my Klima and couldn’t be happier. I think Nami’s owner watches your videos. A lot of your complaints have been addressed with my version, including placement of controls on handlebars and cable management in front. Looks awesome, feels like my Model 3 Performance off the line, is fast, nimble and fun. Lots of bang for your buck.

Saving yourself £1000 and also ruling out any seizures (or rather thefts) from the Police. Top Tip. When unboxing, turn it upside down and cut the bottom flaps then put the box right side up and just lift the box off. Much easier than trying to lift the scooter up from out of the box.
    I used to work at a electronics store in the 90's and this was the easiest way to get those old big, heavy TV's out of the box.

      I love my WKGTP, but if you get one and it’s one of the ones that has random throttle jolts in dual motor mode. It really sucks, not all are affected which makes no sense. But if you look into it there are a good number of people complaining about it online.
      I get the jolts so I mostly stick to single motor mode so I’m not caught off guard. With that said, I’d still 100% recommend it. It’s an amazing scooter.

      They are exposed on purpose and are intended to be disconnected so it can be sold in areas where they "have" to be speed limited. I have the Klima and you can wrap the cables up and push them back into the frame where you will never see or think of them again.

    • @josholson3262
      @josholson3262 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@likewater1429 thats really a hard question to answer since scooters are so subjective.
      Ive put over 900 miles on my Klima since June and I just love it. For me personally, the Klima checked more boxes than the others. I appreciated that Nami tends to undersell their scooters instead of trying to convince you that their scooters are perfect in every way. For example: their IP rating is IP55 but thats because the lowest rated component are the motors at "only" IP55. The battery and electronic components are all water tight. At the time of buying the scooter, it was pretty hard to find the peak wattage and they listed their motors at 2x1000. Peak output is actually around 5300 watts. Ive hit 43 mph quite a few times, even on a lower battery and I honestly could not care less about speeds over 45 mph. Sure its a fun talking point but realistically you will never need to go higher than that. I live in MN and there arent a lot of roads that are smooth enough to confidently take 10" wheels any faster.
      It certainly isnt a perfect scooter. The biggest gripe that I have is the regen braking. Like every reviewer has said, it's too aggressive. I have it on low just to get as much mileage as I can but it took a little while to get used to. Now that I have, it isnt as big of a deal but the braking is only stopping you, or doing nothing. theres no middle ground. I hardly even use the actual brakes. I just pull enough to activate the regen.
      the last point that was really important to me was aesthetics. I know a lot of people like loud and bright scooters but I don't. The Klima has such a stealthy and subtle look to it. It doesnt have to tell you that its fast, or pulls hard off the line, it shows you. The Burn-E has a similar look but I like the size of the Klima much more and I'm not a small guy. 5'11" and at 235 lbs. I do a lot of mountain biking and the Klima has no issues hauling me up hills that I've struggled with on a bike.
      Hope this all helps. I dont think you can go wrong with any of the scooters you listed.
      P.S. No scooter will be free from the potential of being stolen. That being said, the Klima comes with an NFC reader to power on/off. It won't replace a solid U-Lock but it still adds a lot of peace of mind from not having to worry about people just walking up and powering the scooter on to drive away with.

    • @4partmedia
      @4partmedia 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Exposed loose wire? That's a speed limiter wire meant to be easily seen and disconnected on first ride. You disconnect and it hides away in the frame. You don't know what you are talking about. 😂🤦

    Hmm, mine didn't come with the NFC reader, I'll reach out to fluid and ask if I was supposed to get one, btw, when I set up the security code with my chosen number, it worked but after I turned it off and tried to turn it back on, it locks the scooter up and I have to plug in the charger to unlock it, I forget what error code it flashes. Rear spring pre-load adjustment requires either wheel removal or battery removal. I put a little piece of hard rubber in the throttle assembly to take up the dead zone, worked perfectly. Steering is way stiff on mine, will sort it out soon, lock nut is VERY tight. All in all though, it's a fantastic scooter, my next scoot however will have 11-12" wheels.

      Long story short, no I did not, I've sold the scooter and the new owner likes the stiffer steering, I guess it's personal preference but as a motorcycle guy and everything else with two wheels, I'm just not used to this. I'm also a little surprised there isn't more talk on the subject, I get the whole stability thing but I just prefer looser steering. Good luck with Kaabo, I'm sure they'll get it sorted.

    • @josholson3262
      @josholson3262 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I have the Klima Max with the bigger battery, weigh 245 lbs, and ride 25 miles round trip to/from work each day. I only charge my battery to 90%. I keep speeds on bike paths and around people to 20-25 mph but there's a few miles of road where I open it up to 42 mph and by the time I make it home I'll have 25% left. When I limit my ride to the sport mode of 20-25 mph, I haven't done a range test to empty but I just did a 24 mile ride at those speeds and had around 40-50% left (I rely on the display and it tends to go up and down a few points as you ride). Oh, I also have a massive hill to climb on my way home and it has no problem doing that as the battery is getting low. Hope all this detail helps. I love this scooter.

      Kaabo wolf king gt. You'll never need another scooter. 55+ mph and I average 45-50 miles a charge. That's accelerating hard and doing 30-50mph most the time. Never a dull moment slamming on the throttle

      The stems are now steel and even so, the claims of stems snapping randomly were later found out to be due to a crash and not a material failure. I was worried too until I looked into it more. Also, my Klima Max had a brake sensor issue but it just needed to be adjusted (I know there's a known problem with them but they're apparently fixed now but you might need to make a very easy adjustment)
      Edit: the Klimas stems that snapped was at the pin at the base of the stem. That pin was aluminum and it is now steel. If you're worried about which one you have, you can visually confirm it to be steel by looking just above the wheel.

    I had a chance to test this and a Blade GT2 the other week. I did notice the big deadzone on the throttle, but then it's extremely linear and predictable when you get passed it. More than I could say for the GT2. The Teverun had a smaller deadzone but then the throttle kicked on hard as soon as you got to the end of it. What made it even worse was that it had a 'ramp-up' sort of effect which made it feel even less predictable as well as spongy. So I hated the throttle on the GT2. The regen braking also had a ramp up effect on the GT2 which I HATED. Neither scooter had as nice controls as my Apollo, but I liked just about everything else about the other two scooters better than mine.

    I would love this to be my next scooter. However.
    I can’t help but think that rear end just looks like such and after thought.
    The LED strip looks cheap and exposed and the double fender just looks odd being in 2 sections.
    Also I fold the scooter but nowhere to secure the handlebars.
    If these issues were fixed …. I would say take my money!!!!
    Will await the updated version if they do 1 and hope that these issues are fixed! 🙏🏻 what’s your thoughts freshly charged?

    Ive seen that the max has a price tag of around 3.2k euro (im living in the EU). But I dont feel as comfortable seeing a 60V battery in that price range, 72V should be included in all escooters around that price. But also I feel like this is unfair since there are motorcycles that can go quadruple the range for the same price, but at the same time has the same indicators of a cheap production (weldings, grip tape, a lot of plastic, and exposed wires) Im really in the hell of choosing which scooter to get, but this one as my first I personally dont feel so aimated to buy.

      Yeah you need to turn on Turbo mode in the P settings, then activate it (hold the + button for ~1sec while the scooter is moving). You'll see the Turbo mode icon in the top right corner, and the word "ON" when it's activated.

    Hi! Which mid size, 40mph+, with removable battery scooter would you recommend? Im thinking the RS5+ 2.0 would be good, but are there other options that are equal or better in the same price range?

    • @slicertm668
      @slicertm668 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Oh the RR RS5+ 2.0 is perfect if you want a removable battery, but I don't think it's worth it because even though it's 28Ah the battery drains quicker when riding at more than 30mph because it's 52V. If you get a 60v scooter instead with the same capacity (like a wolf warrior x gt, 60V 28Ah), it would go a lot further, proven buy the ESG range test where the RS5+ got 25 miles and the WW X GT got 44 miles. Just FIY because it might be something you don't think of.

    Does anybody know where the fuse box or fuses are located on the Nami Klima. I went through the PDF manual and searched the word "fuse" and nothing even comes up. Something odd happened. I was riding in an average of 8 mph for about 3 or 4 miles then reached a hill about 25-30 deg and the scooter shut off about 15 seconds into going up the hill. I was doing about 6 to 8 mph when the whole scooter just shut off entirely. I read on google that fuses are often the reason why scooters shut off on a hill but can't find anything online about where the fuse is. I left a detailed message with fluidfreeride but still waiting to hear back. Also the brake sensors were disconnected and it rode beautifully for a day until this happened. Fluid is sending me a new sensor cables to replace the old ones which apparently had issues. Thanks
