Keep blowing the horn my brother. I agree with everything you say.
Good words so true. We must wake up as a people. I was born in st. lucia and lived there until 20yrs old and this is the first time I am getting to see what this place looks like.

As an American whose been to St Lucia ( 25 years ago) ...we stayed in cottage, bought local produce, rode the local bus, and realize some people never leave the resort. My concern also is over development of land can cause erosion and land slides. China is a concerned everywhere now....China wanted world control, and they never play fair, ever!! They’re buying up land all over the world...even in the USA they’re buying up farm land...it’s a world power ideology. Your island is a natural beauty and your government needs to put in place better management to help locals in business and ownership...just my 2 cents. Best wishes.

you should have a link in the description so people can get information on the general price range of land and also the steps that a foreigner has to take to buy land in St Lucia

Very valid points. However, I find finance for locals to be a barrier. I am from Grenada and find loan terms are outrageous. For example, 10 years to pay land put land and property ownership further away from locals. So citizenship by investment buys out all the land leaving poor out in the rain. It's an old colonial way of depriving freed slaves.

But you don't want the crime. Our house was burglarized average 4x per year. 1 in every 2 persons i know have been a victim of violent crime. My mom Internet Cafe burglarized to the point she closed down. I feel much safer abroad because per capita we have less crime

I have never driven around Cape Estate. I will definitely explore that area and around the island when I move to St.Lucia.
