She actually was in the Philippine version of one of those three (don't remember which one) when she was in her teens. It was how she met her husband because he was a contestant as well. I agree with you though and am completely shocked she didn't win the competition. Her versions of Rise Up, Never Enough, Halo and I Want to Know What Love Is are simple amazing and bring tears to my eyes every time I listen to them. And yes, I have a Morissette playlist with my favor songs that she sings! Two other songs I love that she does are You Are the Reason and Could You Be Messiah. Absolutely amazing! She is one of the best overall singers I have ever listened to in my 59 years!
