Left the game few days ago actually, got tired of it. the content is overwhelming, but i know people like that, and i respect that. Anyways i wish luck to everybody who still plays and always have a good time.
@@mercurytiger then you clearly didnt play enough of good mmos that actually do their job right, keep it entertaining and rewarding, that you dont mind grinding and doing it more times, but ak is without goal, being end game isnt rewarding beside feeling you can now solo everything, theres nothing close to adventure, or actual plot.

Okay, let me explain the current state of the game Aura Kingdom is a fun game seeing the cute and awesome costumes on your char, the fun but questionable combat system. As you progress you'll feel accomplished but once you get too competitive in the game like tryharding to be the best in your server you have to do a lot of side stuff like professions, wishes, collections, card limit break to get those extra stats because it is necessary to become OP. The main thing about Aura Kingdom is that stats is everything, you also have to consider the absurd amount of RNG that is in the game, like costume re roll to get that DMG + 7% for your costume, or the secret stone re roll to get detail damage 5. Comparing the private server to the retail one, private server wins hands down because it actually has more content compared to retail like Laments,Landing,Aqua to ease up your leveling grind, NTL, TLP for easy LP, NSoeT for easy leveling for your eidolon and lets not forget that the devs in the private server actually care about what the community has to say. If you have some time to kill and actually enjoy the game then proceed on playing it but dont expect that you can compete with the high end players in just months of playing because if you want to get OP you have to spend like half of your life in the game. As for raids, Sky tower has a cool concept but it gets boring and just becomes a chore every weekend, and imagine sitting for 1-2hours just for you to leech in ST, get the stuff you want in LP shop then get fucked by RNG, i.e. buying 2 stacks of forts and realizing that the 2 stacks of fort didnt max out your fort level lol. Talking about performance, I get more FPS sitting in a capital city of WoW compared to visiting Navea where i get 10-20FPS hell, WoW had existed for several years and its more optimized than aura Kingdom. STATS oh the dreaded stats its the core thing in Aura Kingdom, every side stuff rewards you those bonus stats. Imagine being level cap and aura kingdom reduces your stats bcs thats how it was designed. It doesnt matter if you have the same gear with a fellow player but if you didnt do your wishes,collection, limit break and professions, your bound to be more weaker than the player who did those stuff. One thing for sure being elitist in the game is actually rewarding bcs you are proving that the time and effort you put into the game is actually being rewarded by the design of the system.
I agree with you too, although I´m from the spanish server the problems that you mentioned in the video are there too. Especially with the eidolons, the "new" ones that they started to add are just the ones that appeared in the private server first and most of them can only be acquired if you pay. The most annoying part is that the boxes that you buy in the page that contain the fragments or keys of a specific eidolon have a very low dropping porcentage even if you buy a lot of boxes. Anyways, I met you with the videos of the eidolons and I really enjoyed them but I like your channel in general so keep up the good work and thank you nwn.
I'm also quitting the game. I agree with what you said but I have a different main problem. My main problem with the game ever since I played it for the first time is the lack of Holy Trinity; The Eidolon and Subclass destroyed it. The game is literally style over substance. It's just a linear, narrow-minded and boring DPS simulator. No teamwork whatsoever. Ever wonder why the 3 lowest tiers (Guardian, Bard, Grenadier) are the lowest? Because they are the only class that isn't DPS oriented.
I agree with this 100% The game gets really repetitive in the long run. 90~101(s1) is fine but 101~110 idk. I had i think 4 eidolons left to complete the “collection” for wishes and stuff and then boom there’s a new one again released via BP. Went hiatus for a few months or so and when I came back there are new equipments to gear up to lol. Stopped playing months ago and never looked back. I had fun tho i won’t deny that.
Only time I'll ever come back to AK is when they announce the shutdown of their servers due to how dead the game is, just to get some nostalgia out of it.
Although the game is fun and interesting, as I progressed through it, I only remained in the game to hang with friends that I've made in it, but many quit the game, likely for the same reason, for me it became boring and around the point I had a good gaming computer, so I could finally invest my time in ffxiv, I must say it is an amazingly fun game whether you're a social player or someone who enjoys the combat side of things, like dungeons/etc and honestly now is a great time to jump into it :)
haha luckily i quit longgg time ago. quit for a while, then comeback when 90gears updated. then i quit for real till now. tho sometimes i missed playin my bard in pvp again, but nah. too much for me to grind lvl and gears. and yep, i totally agree about that cutscene in ST. so they didnt make option to skip till now? lol thats was my reason annoyed doin st long time ago when still active. i mean come on, they really shud make option so players can skip or watch those cutscene. well, glhf for those who still playin this game

I quited 1 year ago. I've been playing almost 3 years i loved it. But it's become boring and p2w as u said and i agree with you. At least i reached 2 classes with max gears and lvl. So i quite with peacefulness haha

Been playing this game for almost 3days now, my current progression is lvl 72 Lancer, I can say that mostly of the people are generous like they shouting free costume and i was in rush whispering them "can i have" lol others are not in my case they are suspecting my character to be just a ALT. lol funny to them saying that things for a newbie player like me whos adapting the gameplay really hard.. in my opinion maybe im just starting so i dont feel the boring factor of the game. but kinda frustrating dying in the mobs couple times x.x
Pay, pay for what? This is just a downtime game for me. A game in-between my regular games. I wouldn't put a cent into it. I play on a private server for that reason. Experience is x5 & drop-rate x2.
Pay to min-max your character, wheter it's money or time, that's a big investment. Also the x5 exp rate, was kinda a lie at some point, because they increased the total experience needed to level up after a certain level and it was higher compared to the other servers, but I don't know if that's still case.
Even the elitist / end game players quit because it’s shit 😆 its nothing compared to other mmos. The costumes and the sims-like vibes will lure you into it but when you play other mmos, AKs combat / “raids” are nothing. Playing ak is like playing sims (aka look cute in navea design your house do some gathering /fishing chores) with a little bit of gaming aka cash hard to “one shot” bosses so u could “carry” your friends then quit too after u reach a certain point in your ak life like the top players lol

Aura Kingdom was a fun but excruciating experience. Progression from questing was so boring. Otherwise gameplay was actually good if combat for a given class didn't become stale so quickly and, you know...the game wasn't dominated via premium currency.

I remembered when I played the game 5 years ago on the ps. it had way more people back then. when I revisited it recently ir felt quite empty. also the amount of content I saw that was offered immediatly turned me off. bcz it was a bit to much to consider as fun

My issue with the game is that it's outdated bullshit! Graphics are crap, and the gameplay is stagnant... Just trying to walk in this MMO is bad enough, with WASD only letting you walk in 4 cardinal directions... OR you can click to walk.... wtf? NO... NOBODY DOES THIS ANYMORE!!! My last click to move game, was Guild Wars, and it was very similar movement to AK, and yet AK released well after GW did... it's time to step into 2019 and update the shitty controls.
