Sir u made a mistake. In the IS 456 Clause 39.3, it says that "A.c." in the formula is "Area of Concrete" but at 05:37 you have taken it as "Area of Column". Please confirm if "A.c" is "Area of Concrete" or "Area of Column", thank you.
You explain clearly thank you sir But still I have doubts You changed breadth as 400mm, but you didn't check minimum eccentricity with this formula (l/+500 + b/30) why You changed depth as 450mm, but you didn't check minimum eccentricity with this formula (l/+500 + d/30) why
As it was not satisfying the axially loaded criteria it has to be designed as eccentrically loaded column, but after this stage i had considered 20mm as minimum eccentricity and solved as axially loaded column. Academically we can solve like this but practically the column has to be solved as eccentrically loaded column
In case of determining the Asc u have considered the new Ag but in case of circular column u considered Ag as the calculated one not the new one(after increasing diameter) why sir is it limited only for circular column pls explain sir...and beside this thank u so much sir for explaining the numerical s and sharing ur knowledge..
Nicely explained sir👍🏻 sir can you tell in which cases we are supposed to assume 1%of steel. Becoz I have seen in some cases they aren’t using 1%of Steel.
Best lecture seen in structural pages.👍👍
Thank you for appreciating, keep watching and support us by sharing our content

@@structuralanalysisanddesign eccentricity loaded coulmn means long column? Or different one
@Picture Perfect Studio bhai tu photos click kar jaaa
b = 400mm is wrong. When u put b= 400 in the equation, l/500+b/30, we get, e= 22.33 and 0.05×400= 20. e(min) > e(max) not OK.
Bro, here we need to consider e min as 20 because if it exceeds 20 we consider e as 20, and if it is less than 20 then we consider the gotten value.

Nice lecture and very informative and knowledgeable...
Thanks a lot, keep watching and sharing
Sir can you tell me what we have do when the dia in lateral tie is 2 mm which dia bars are used
Thankyou sir for such an amazing content with such an awesome dedication
when you take d as 450mm emin aint 20 its greater than 0,05d . so its not satisfying . please explain this
Sir why number of bars is not multiplied with area of steel of 1 bar as u did in square column?
knowledgeable video. Provide more. Is there any video on Load calculations of a house? if had, please give me the link. Thank you
sir why dont you mention about spacing of longitudanal bars , is it not neccessary to specify it
Very useful and informative video thank you.
Thankyou so much sir, your lectures are very helpful for me 🙏🙏
Sir can I provide lapping in shear zone in any box culverts type structure
Can you upload the design of combined footing with eccentric loading?
Will soon try to workout on that topic
Sir, Please explain about ductility calculation for column and beam. If you done please provide the link. Thank you.
I will try to make on that topic
Watching it @ 12:40 AM
is the assumption , b=D÷2 , compulsory ? can we take other ??
it is just an assumption that was analyzed and failed. So second assumption was made later.
Nicely explained thxs.

Sir please put on a videos for stair design
Soon i will try to upload it, right now focusing on columns, after columns surely i will upload
@@structuralanalysisanddesign waiting for your next design of column.... Please quickly uploade it
I dont understand why in Re Design we will take b = 400 . Someone please answer this 💢
Sir sorry to say... little bit u r skipping..... otherwise superb
❤️
👍🏻
abe galat krr rha hai...emin ki value to change hoga na
First try to have sense to speak
Sorry to say but Wrong explanation.
