I cook extra and freeze a couple of meals in portions . That way if I’m sick or someone needs a quick lunch. They just grab one of the meals out and put it in the microwave for themselves. And if I make something that someone doesn’t like they can pick from one of the froze meals and have that. On hot days when to hot to cook those meals are life saver.

Lunchmeat has gotten so expensive. I stopped buying it a while ago to cut costs, but I often wonder if it would be worth it to get a meat slicer and do my own. 😊
Yes that would probably help with cost. I try to just get smaller portions to have now. And I usually get once a month.
But depending on if I go weekly or not, to just buy what we need and not want.
Yes I’ve gotten meat slicer and it saves lots of money. You could cook your own roast, chicken and turkey and use it to cut it down for sandwiches. I’ve used it to cut pickles down and make my own sandwich slices. Use it to cut apple slices or any fruit then freeze dry them or can them. Onions for onion rings. Meat slicer can be used for many things. Like people who make own laundry soap use it to make shavings. Great on cheese also.

The cost is high , here the products you buy them with low price , but it seems in your country that salaries is high , here the salary for person is between 500 - 700$ every month so the products of all types is low
