nah it definitely did occur. I was a kid about 14 or 15 and it was the summer of 1998 or 1999. i recall that there were wild fires that people suspected of being started by a bunch of kids at the time. I even recall the house it happened in. it was in the san Carlos area of Fort Myers; Florida. Which already isn't a great neighborhood. The home in which it occurred was across from a golf course, which had a known lizard infestation. my aunt's home is low to the ground, and in a known poor district. so her window was broken and left open. they run around her house late at night all the time. among other "invaders" including mice, rats and what she calls palmetto bugs. @@KantiKane the place wasn't in the best condition either so who knows what else was actually probably on me. they were attracted to the heat of my body, but for all i know they could have also been attracted to delicious bugs. who knows. all i know is that after that night i never slept in her house again. i slept in the car until the vacation was over. mostly because of what she said about the spider pals in the yard.

I love seeing content like this. We have bearded dragons and we get crickets and keep them in a little cricket container. Well when the crickets start to die, what we do is we take the container outside and dump the crickets out. We did this for months without thought. One day we walked outside and all the little anoles came running out and literally sat at our feet and waited for us to dump the crickets. Apparently they had been watching us do this for months and realize when we came out with the container they got free food!
Wow!!! I live on Oahu and we have a couple of these little guys that go through our trash and compost, they always run away when we get close, but im going to get some papaya or mango and see if they will eventually warm up to me like they did you!!! Love the video!

I'm confused... You are talking about the name "gold dust day gecko"? They are called day geckos because they are diurnal, while most geckos are nocturnal. And the "gold dust" part of the name refers to the flecks of gold colouring. I think that name suits them well enough

Wish my geckos in my garden were as tame as these guys. The pair that feed off fruit flies in my citrus tree just had babies and I had the pleasure of seeing two babies going from branch to branch. They were tiny.
