I haven't straightened my hair in more than 10 years. I kinda want to do it since my hair is hip length for sure. It's so coarse though. I don't wanna fry it to get it straight. LOL!!! But this looks amazing!!! I might have to try it on my hair. That's BEAUTIFUL!!!😍💕
JoAnna Johnson go to a dominican hair salon, they will blowdry ur hair straight straight without using a flat iron and risking heat damage. before i went natural, i’m dominican with 3c curls and i always went to dominican salons and my hair was so so long, because they do roller set to stretch the hair, and then blow dry it as straight as if u used a flat iron. that’s why if you go to Dominican republic, there are white Dominicans and black Dominicans, and the Dominicans with coarse curly hair, always have long hair even if they straighten it a lot.
preciosa🤩 I probably would NEVER do that. I've been in haircare for over 30 years. I'm not interested in letting ANYONE do my hair. LOL!!! I do roller sets, Bantu Knots and Rod Sets all the time. I don't have nowhere near 3C hair either. It's all the way past 4C LOL!!! I don't have curly hair but coilly hair. No curls over here at all. LOL!!! I'm not afraid of heat damage. I was merely joking about the coarse texture of my hair needing more heat. Thank you though. And those Dominicans be trying their best to do a Brazilian blow out or a Keratin treatment on me. We have a lot of those shops where I live and they be handing out their cards and flyers all the time trying to get me in their chair. No Thanks!!! 😂😂😂

Hey just a tip you may like! I’m a cosmetologist at a blow dry bar & we spray dry shampoo in our clients hair before they leave, that stops the oils from even starting for a few days. It works way better than spraying it in your hair after the oils are there😁 hope it helps!

Yep same second day hair is my favorite. And then once it gets to the point where it’s getting dirty I use dry shampoo and put in buns for a wavy look.

@Erica Erica...she has strong genetic propensity to retain and grow hair. Know women who treat hair gently and who carefully follow growth retention strategies but who are genetically predisposed to thinning hair at edges so they have to use Rogaine and/ or Ayervedic oils. Those ladies are gentle w/ their hair and have protective styles etc. They do it all. They grow hair more slowly but not as long and definitely not as thick and lustrous. Neiicey is genetically lucky.
