Builds have gotten a lot better of the years of doing these. Leave a like on the vid if you want to keep this series going!
Check out the ornament rating we did for hunters: m.th-cam.com/video/RIjlvk8VJoQ/w-d-xo.html
Hunter build: Kinetic bow + Eriana vow, with the 'dragons shadow' exotic (to provide the handling). Dodging then using a bow shot into Eriana vow, should be a pretty fast TTK
Hey tdt I think youw I'll like this :), dead messenger plus ophidian aspect, echo of leeching, grenade energy on melee kill and that it, pair it with chaos accelerant and axion bolts too it's fun >:). Just concentrate on shooting messenger at the ground then meleeing to get instant kills and lots of grenade energy, also use blink my guy.
Hey TDT, if you go to the comments again for the next vid or whatever, I found one accidentally while leveling my hunter up in IB
I call it “The Invisible Toaster”
Requirements: Graviton Forfeit, 100 Mobility and 2x Class Ability Kickstart (probably best to use Arc Charged with Light mods to do this), At least Tier 6 Discipline/Strength, High Resilience if possible, Grenade Kickstart, Vanishing Step/Stylish Executioner Nightstalker with Gamblers Dodge and Suppressor Grenade equipped… and Jotünn. I literally only picked fragments with stat boosts so go wild since everyone has better RNG with armor rolls than I.
Dodging with Graviton causes your melee to recharge quickly so you throw smoke/tracker to bait enemies, suppressor nade to pressure them into corridors and Jotünn to punish retreating.
Pair with a Rangefinder Austringer/Eyasluna if you can manage, or a good pulse since you’ll be playing a mid range flanking play style. My Rapid Hit/Desperado Messenger did just fine on most maps.
The loop: Invis, throw nades/smoke, exit invis to Shoot Toaster, Kill, Repeat cycle ad infinitum
Good luck!
@@judgementlaw7881 wouldnt using the Lucky Pants provides a faster ttk as the eriana draw time is instant?
I got a dirty void titan build. Use Aeon Safe arms socket the Aeon mod that gives class ability Regen and energy for when allies die. This procs no matter where they are on the map and use Vigilance wing because it synergies with that and void because then you become an annoying void barricade spamming titan and will always and I mean always have a over shield up for yourself and allies. For aspects use offensive bulwark and bastion. For fragments the one that extends barricade timer, the one that extends grenade use and use axion or spike or void wall grenade honestly either or and then the fragment for melee kills give health Regen for you and allies. I use this all the time in control and people get mad. Also use the Title smg for secondary weapon because more class ability energy. I'm sorry that's a lot but it's super fun and pls try it out ;-;
Bombardiers started getting good when the bomb started giving secondary effects
The only place its really stupid ive found so far is the radient dodge in solar. The bomb drops when you land rather than when you initiate the dodge.
That and I've been having trouble combining the "slow on dodge" Hunter Aspect and this exotic. I feel like it should freeze with that combo, but it's not really doing that.
@@brucemaximus3797 at least you’re getting guaranteed damage
@@brucemaximus3797 bombardiers deals a type of slow that doesn't stack with stasis slow, completely erasing any chance of freezing because they don't work together
@@O-bearer-mine Huh. Here's hoping Bungie updates that at some point, then.
@@brucemaximus3797 they won't, it's intentionally a different type of slow so we don't get a repeat of year 1 stasis
What if instead of spicy clips you did unfortunate clips?
YES
I’m finna blow up the whole thing with clips
I think it’s safe to say that we’ve all had our moments. Like the time I was shot into the stratosphere in the corrupted and didn’t die so I was just stuck going up forever.
LMAO
The real question is: Would he use negative peppers, or a new form of measurement for misfortune, maybe an onion?
I am once again suggesting
**The A(rc)-Train!**
Exotics: Peregrine Greaves and Monte Carlo
Subclass: Striker
Grenade: flashbang or storm
Class ability: thruster
Aspects: Knockout and Juggernaut
Fragments: Spark of Focus, Spark of Resistance, and Spark of Feedback
Special: Any glaive (although Enigma is hands down the best one)
Recommended stats: T10 resilience, high recov, mid tier discipline and strength and any tier mobility.
Here’s my preferred build for ya
Class: hunter
Subclass: Gunslinger
Super: deadshot
Aspects: knock ‘em down and on your mark
Fragments: benevolence,empyrean, combustion, tempering, solace
Grenade: healing
Melee: any
Dodge: acrobats
Exotic: frost-ee5
Weapons: Solar 180 hand cannon or Solar 180 scout *depending on range
Edit: this is highly supportive and safe build. I’m always applying radiant and restoration to myself and allies. Due to 180 hand cannons not being the best archetype, you really need to catch people off guard to give yourself the best chance of winning. Although there’s still a fair chance of winning 1 on 1 while radiant.
Here's mine.
Nitro Ape.
Your choice of Atrocyte for better blink, transverse steps for overall mobility, or Karnstein armlets for survivability. Try and test to your desire. Spec into mobility, grab your glaive (enigma is my go to), pair it with mida for mid range.
The name comes from the fact this build is made to be used hyper aggressively. Get in people's space or blink behind them, and beat them to death. Pair this with voidwalker, devour, child of the old gods, blink, and echo of leeching and you have some bullshit.
A fun build I've been using lately.
Warlock build:
Solar warlock, Rain of fire exotic boots, Telesto (any fusion or linear works here but telesto the besto), Pure poetry w/ harmony
Subclass: Healing Nades, Heat Rises, Icarus Dash, Ember of Torches, Ember of Solace. Everything else is personal preference. After getting a kill with the Fusion you get radiant, swapping to the HC triggers harmony and it allows for some very satisfying 2 taps. Plus healing nades lets you get a fusion kill, heal up then move on to go for a crispy two tap. Telesto also maps, but the kill is sometimes delayed, so you need to be careful of that when swapping to HC.
i main bombardiers on my hunter and one tip i can give with my experience is to stop thinking of your dodge as an escape or utility, but instead as a weapon. only experience and practice will allow you to get an idea of the bomb's range but when you do, you'll be getting tbagged when you finally bite the dust to a gjallerhorn fired specifically at you.
Not a crucible build, but a build none the less :
Nearly Infinite super hunter
Stareaters Scales ( obv )
Kinetic Siphon w/ Outbreak or Ostio Striga along side taking charge and high energy fire to make it more disturbing throw in harmonic siphon as well. Understandably it it relies on a lot of ads but for higher end content like raids your gonna have your super anyways so x4 feast isn't that difficult, equip whatever else you want with it ( radiant helps a lot with hef add clear ) but if like to see where you could take it and maybe give me some pointers.
Here's a build I've been running recently and having lots of fun with-
Arc warlock with lightning surge and electrostatic mind as aspects, chain lightning as the melee (though I almost never use it, it just has a shorter cooldown), with spark of momentum and recharge at the very least to help your melee recharge. I also run feedback and resistance to improve the consistency of what the build does.
Your exotic armor for this build is winter's guile, and as far as mods, I use basically all the stuff to get you more melee energy, the arc cwl mod that gives your shotguns more handling, and as much recovery and strength as possible.
For weapons, you can use anything that feels comfortable in a more aggressive playstyle as your primary, and a lightweight frame shotgun to get more speed when you aren't amplified and to easily set up the first melee kill if you don't have the teleport melee charged.
What the build does is allow you to go on some awesome punching sprees. You start by teleporting in with the charged melee and getting a kill, getting you amplified and giving you the winter's guile buff. Then you just basically run around punching anyone you can find, using your shotgun as well if the winter's guile buff runs out. Pretty fun, and sometimes you wipe the entire enemy team with only your bare hands.
Void warlock build. It’s right up your ally with blink and astrocyte verse. Then grab your trusty fighting lion, and ignition code. Make sure you run one grenade launcher loader and dex. From there have fun rapidly swapping weapons and blowing up target one by one. Works best if you start on ignition code and then switch to fighting lion for the clean up.
Step 2 : Aim
Step 2, be a 3kd able to direct hit GLs consistent.
@@Painjusu the build is a hot swap build, the idea is to get them low with ignition code then finish them off with fighting lion, or the other way around. Both styles have their benefits
I just utilise an Explosive Payload hand cannon instead of a special as it may not be uber fast and require pseudo line of sight, but it makes cleaning up really consistent
One headshot or 2 EP shots from enemies just barely behind cover
I just wanna see how this works out cause this is coming from a pave player BUT:
Arcstrider
Pulse grenade
Combination blow
Gambler’s dodge
Tempest strike
Lethal current
Spark of resistance, frequency and feedback, you can choose the fourth
A 750, aggressive frame arc smg. I use the Ikelos.
Arbalest, or another long range weapon kinetic slot.
You can choose the super, the armor exotic, and the type of jump. Preferably have a high strength stat for the recharge on the melee.
void titan build: peacekeeps + dead messenger + any kinetic/stasis smg (i like the new pizzicato)
pretty simple and maybe done to death concept of hotswapping with dead messenger to get easy smg kills. bubble gives a good defensive option against some supers or heavy weapons
aspects: bastion and offensive bull work for ability regen
Exotic Idea
Exotic Titan Gaunlets - The Achievments
"Everything will be ok in the end. If it's not ok, then its not the end."
Exotic Trait - Built Different
While Knockout is active Seismic Strike and Fists of Havoc do massively increased damage and deal critical damage. Fists of Havoc can activate Knockout on a hit.
Voidwalker build
Weapons: Touch of Malice, any close range secondary of choice (I use Bonechiller)
Exotic Armour: Secant Filaments (Stag should work as an alright replacement)
Emp rift, blink, and your choice of grenade (I prefer vortex or HHSN)
Aspects: Child of the Old Gods, Chaos Accelerant
Fragments: mostly personal preference, I run Harvest, Undermining, and Dilation.
Mods: Precision Charge/Charge Harvester, Quick Charge, Taking Charge, High-Energy Fire, and a Kinetic Siphon.
Arc Warlock build
Chain lightning melee, electrostatic surge slide melee
Claws of ahamkara
Any weapon with pugilist (I use ammit personally but any primary should work great)
Double outreach on arc class item, momentum transfer, and high recov obviously.
This build is extremely fun and pretty consistent, get some kills to have your double charge, slide in and nuke everyone. They dont die? You have another charge of chain lightning that can finish them off.
I like running this with a sidearm for those closer range engagements, but anything you like should do the job.
I’ve been loving this one of mine.
(Abilities)
Thundercrash Titan with knockout and touch of thunder aspects, ballistic slam, storm grenade, and thrusters for abilities. The aspects I use are beacons, magnitude, volts, and recharge change them however you feel.
(Weapons/Armor)
Nothing special here, just some good ol’ Dunemarchers for the armor and for weapons I’ve been using the Bad Juju and the Adored.
I’m no expert in pvp but man this one’s fun.
Question. If you could Combine any 4 Exotics (1 of each Armor Spot) into a Set, what you'd choose? Here's mine for Solar Hunter.
Head: Assassin's Cowl - For Stealth when I kill with Throwing Knife.
Gloves: Shards of Galanor - Bit faster Super Recovery after use.
Chest: Ophidia Spathe - Extra Knife, and Recovers both Knives on restore.
Bottom: Lucky Pants - No particular reason, I just like them and they were my first Exotic Armor.
Very good Arc 3.0 Warlock build. Exotic: Crown of tempests, Weapons: Dead messenger (change to arc mode at beginning of round) + any normal ammo weapon. Grenade: any, Melee: Chain lightning, Class Ability: healing rift, Fragments: Lightning surge + Electrotasitc Mind. Fragments: Spark of momentum, Spark of frequency, Spark of feedback, and Spark of Focus. Explanation: The main point of this build is lightning surge, when you are near an enemy slide, as you are sliding fire dead messenger and directly after use your melee ability as the slide is ending. If you hit the dead messenger shot which is very easy then your melee ability will instantly kill. After the kill you get ability regen from crown of tempests you have an extremely fast reload on dead messenger, and you get amplified which means you get speedbooster allowing this combo to be even more deadly. Extra: if you don’t have/don’t want to use dead messenger you can swap it out for a legendary wave frame gl ( I like to use forbearance ) and you an exotic normal ammo weapon.
(I think many knew this)Arc hunter: Combination blow and Gambler’s dodge, for aspect, Lethal current and flow state, fragments: spark of feedback, and others are your choices. One-two punch shotgun and Assassin’s Cowl for exotic helmet. Required mod is: Elemental charge, Striking light, Powerful friends(just for +20 mobility), Melee wellmaker, Well of Ions.
Just dodge first, punch, dodge, punch, dodge, One-two punch. This even work well in the end game contents.
A build I've been having fun with:
Solar hunter:
-Explosive knife
-Incendiary Grenade
-Gambler's Dodge
-Blade Barrage
-knock 'em down
-on your mark
-ember of ashes, torches, beams, blistering, and searing
Exotics:
-Caliban's hand
-Monte Carlo
Energy weapon:
-BXR-55 Battler with Pugilist and Incandescent
Mods:
-Elemental ordnance
-Melee wellmaker
-healing well
-elemental armaments
Class: Warlock
Subclass: Stormcaller
Exotic: Getaway Artist
Weapons: Fighting Lion and a subsistence SMG. If you have a Mutlimach CCX with Subsistence/Iron Reach even better.
The general gist is speed. If you’re hitting your shots and are on your game hot swapping the Lion to the SMG you should theoretically never have to reload and can snowball from there. Getaway Artist adds additional pressure with near constant enhanced arc souls and they aid as a mild DPS boost if you miss your Fighting Lion shot. Been rocking this loadout for a few years now and I adore it.
Build:
Solar Hunter (Specifically with Acrobats Dodge, On Your Mark, and Ember of Solace. Use whatever you want in the open slots.)
- Any long range kinetic/stasis primary (I use the The Jade Rabbit)
- The Title (specifically with Classy Contender and a Radar Booster)
- The Dragon’s Shadow
- 70+ mobility
- Use whatever you want for the heavy weapon and armor mods
You get to dodge a lot since you get class ability energy with The Title kills and from the high mobility. The benefit to dodging is that it will make you radiant along with more buffs with the Dragon’s Shadow that will make you very strong.
Class: solar hunter
Exotic: ophidia spathe
Run max discipline with healing grenades and ember of benevolence to heal the team and get knives/dodge back, pair with a swash biting winds and a funnel web.
I run gamblers dodge and use knives for all apes up close, then this powers the bow for allow for one taps.
May not be the newest build, but it’s one of my go to’s for this season. Thanks for the content and hope to see this build get featured!
warlock: arc
getaway artist
100 discipline
as high strength as possible perf. 100
flashbang grenade for quickest possible upkeep on arc soul
aspects: electrostatic mind, lighting surge
melee: chain lightning
fragments: spark of beacons, spark of frequency, spark of recharge, spark of discharge
mods: amped up
weapons: Monte Carlo and any arc shotgun preferable with demolitionist
Have fun running around the map at Mach one with an arc soul and a shotgun with a melee that can mess up any unsuspecting guardians. ;)
Aggressive invisibility build with nightstalker. The key components are a void smg with repulsor brace (either hero's burden or unforgiven), omnioculus, and the stylish executioner aspect. You essentially throw a smoke bomb at the enemy and clean them up with an smg. You'll get an overshield and invisibility and are ready to keep fighting for the next enemy. Omni is just for extra smoke bombs, pair it with a sniper for range.
Ngl this deserves more views than it’s getting. I blame Divinity.
Build: I’m afraid to name it because it might speak it into existence
Arc Titan
Thunderclap
Flux grenade
Knockout
Juggernaut
Skullfort
Trinity ghoul(with catalyst)
double impact induction and double bomber
Spark of resistance, feedback, and discharge
Traveler have mercy on the crucible
Here is a build for Void Titan
Weapons are Monte Carlo and a Glaive
Exotic armor is Second chance
Melee is Shield throw
Grenade is Scatter grenade
Either super would works well
Aspects are Controlled Demolition and Offensive Bulwark
Fragments are Echo of leeching, Echo of Undermining, Echo of Exchange, and Echo of provision
Notes, a shield throw deals 61-73 damage allowing for the Glaive to outright kill or cause a volatile detonation from Controlled Demolition.
Monte Carlo for more shields to throw.
Scatter grenades with Controlled Demolition and Echo of Undermining will kill a full health guardian with ease. Have fun!
I got roasted... I LOVE IT!!
Edit: got to thinking about it and had forgotten to mention to pair the DM with a 900 SMG, also the nades are the most important part of the build, use them after landing a DM shot.
Still love the video and couldn't stop laughing at the idea of you calling me an ape!
Good work Mesome, keep it up
Arc Warlock Build: Buddy System
No Time To Explain
SMG/Shotgun/Sidearm
Getaway Artist
Arc Soul & Lightning Surge
Fragments: Feedback, Resistance, Magnitude, & Frequency
The idea is to use your grenade to spawn a sentient arc soul and use your rift to extend its timer or spawn a lower level one if needed along with NTTE giving you the time chasm so you always have at least one buddy but if you manage to get both sentient arc soul + time chasm its basically a one burst on most people due to the whole fireteam on your back.
Solar warlock with exotic glaive, rain of fire boots for snappy reload, and choice of range weapon. I use pulse, peace of mind or messenger depending on range of map. Mobility discipline recovery build. Healing grenade, celestial fire, and Phoenix dive. Icarus dash and touch of flame. Empyrean, solace, searing, and torches. Arc +20mods, both fonts, and elemental armaments.
It's fast, it's glaive, it's fun. Enjoy!
This build isn’t too original or crazy, but it’s off meta and super fun once you get the hang of it.
Weapons: Skyburner’s Oath, Kinetic GL (preferably something with proximity grenades)
Armor: Wings of Sacred Dawn, focus on Resilience for reduced flinch and damage taken and Mobility to get higher in the air
Aspects: Heat Rises, Icarus Dash
Class Options: Phoenix Dive, Firebolt Grenade, Celestial Fire
Tips:
•Using Heat Rises and jumping high into the air makes Skyburners a monster at long ranges
•When getting close to an enemy, try jumping higher above them and use the Skyburner hip-fire. Makes em flinch and catches them off guard. Especially useful when going around corners, as it can lure shotgun rushers out
•Using your GL and switching to Skyburner makes quick work of enemies
Void/Arc titan build. Kill clip kinetic smg/DMT (map dependent) + Explosive Personality (with Disruption Break + Auto Loading) + Dunemarchers. This is more of a Trials build for smaller maps but it can work for quickplay. Explosive personality enables easy quick-swap kills for your primary, and also allows you to instantly wipe a whole room when paired with shoulder charge and Dunemarchers. Just slide, shoot the wave frame, then shoulder charge and watch whole teams get erased.
ever since solar 3.0 came out i've been in love with healing nades for both hunter and warlock. I love to use deadshot gunslinger with healing nades and weighted throwing knives with stomp-ees, sturm and drang. it allows me to play fast with drang and push when I need to, while at the same time being able to peek in and out of cover fast with stomp-ees and deal tons of damage with sturm. plus the weighted throwing knives are amazing to deal with shotgun apes and healing nades are perfect to help capitalize in fights against 140's.
Frostees & Mida Multitool with Minitool, marksman's dodge with spark of focus, ~8 second dodge cooldown (focus & frostees stack) while sprinting on max mobility (both mida slots gives +4 iirc), and basically infinite amplified speed boost (12.5%). I prefer blink, storm nades and combination blow with high strength (~15s cooldown). You go extremely fast all the time and can challenge at pretty much any range. Tempest strike for chain jolts and lethal current due to dodge frequency. My fav 3.0 build so far.
Exotic concept
S.S.G (Smugglers Smokin' Gun) Special ammo Hand cannon
"Smugglers have standards."
Base reload: 2.25 seconds
Clips size: 1
Intrinsic perk: Be Polite
This weapon reloads slow shoots a single high damage round that can one shot guardians to the head.
Exotic perk: Be efficient
Every headshot landed will give a stack of "Efficient Shots" giving faster and faster reload speed until 10 stacks are reached getting you to peak efficiency. 0.3 second reload (though it is open to suggestions)
Catalyst: Have a plan
Grants this weapon sympathetic arsenal
Details:
It's a flintlock
Reference alert!
Stasislock build: aspects are frostflare bolts and freeze rift. Weapons are wavesplitter and any sidearm in the kentic slot although I'm personally partial to lonesome. A void helm is required for void siphon to get orbs from double kills on wavesplitter. Apart from that recommended mods are: high energy fire, taking charge, super charged, stacks on stacks, and surprise attack.
The idea behind the build is spam of every freeze available and killing from any range with wavesplitter as traces don't have a damage reduction when shooting frozen targets. High energy fire is for when you get an orb it will stack with wavesplitters perk for .43 TTK melts (23 damage per tick 10 ticks per second). Surprise attack is for super close range engagements (shotgun ape most of the time) to surprise people with 3 tap kills on 260 rpm sidearms like lonesome
I know in the past you have said you dislike traces, but with this build i am well i to my way to 3000 kills on my wavesplitter and i don't plan on stopping anytime soon.
A fun and interesting build, but a bit of a niche idea-
Solar Hunter, running explosive proximity knife and tripmine grenade, with Caliban’s Hand or Ahamkara’s Spine. Use a wave frame Grenade launcher(I recommend explosive personality with genesis and disruption break) with any kinetic weapon, but I personally ran Ace of Spades with it for clean up. Use grenade and knife for wombo combos, and wave frame with ace for group collaterals.
Titan build:
Exotic armor - dunemarchers
Weapons - Aisha’s Embrace, Witherhoard, pick your favorite heavy
Subclass - arc
Melee - ballistic slam
Grenade - storm grenade
Aspects - touch of thunder, knockout
Fragments - sparks of volts, resistance, shock, and magnitude
Playstyle: use witherhoard and storm grenade to flush enemy out of cover, rush them and use ballistic slam to kill em’ , dunemarchers will make sure to clear out any stragglers near your impact point, and if they survive your slam, hit them once for kill (knockout also works on the lightning from dunes), use the scout rifle for mid to long range engagements
I soloed a trials match vs a three stack coming back from 4-1 down to win after my 2 potato teammates quit mid match with this build
My personal favorite crucible meme build is the cowboy hunter.
Class: Solar Dead shot Goldie, gunpowder gamble, weighted knife.
Weapons: Any 140 QuickDraw/snapshot hand cannon, and an Eriana’s Vow.
And of course, the Lucky Pants.
Head tap with Eriana’s for 164, then quick swap to your 140, and pop the head one more time, then allow the hatemail to flow
This is the most effective touch of malice build i've found.
Solar Warlock- Heat rises, touch of flame, and well of radience. Fusion or healing nades, depends how you feel, I prefer fusion nades.
Exotic- Stag and Touch of Malice
Special- I ran a Cartesian Coordinate with hip fire for easy quick close range shutdowns
Gameplay- Depending on the map, I would run with as much recovery and discipline as I could and focus on choke points within a stag rift and ToM on it's last bullet. Staying back and hitting hard is how the build works but heat rises is also a good alt. option depending on the map or the enemy playstyle. It's risky but I weird skybox angle with a hard hitting rapid scout can take someone out fast and easy.
I'm new here so why not throw my hat in the ring here is what I call
The Hunter Uno Reverse Card build (More Info in the comment as well)
Dim link: dim.gg/ck4nhyy/Uno-Reverse-Card
Arc Hunter: Arc Staff super
Aspects: Lethal Current & Flow State
Fragments: Spark of Recharge, Feedback & Resistance (I'd throw in either Ions with a skip nade or Magnitude with a pulse nade)
Abilities: Gambler's Dodge, Blink for extra speed, Disorienting Blow, & Skip or Pulse nade
Exotic: Liar's Handshake
Weapons: This build is highly flexible in my opinion as I've found most things work well with this but I mostly use either Hand Cannon Shotgun or Pulse Rifle Shotgun (Most of the time Hawkmoon and Without Remorse having an enhanced Hip-Fire Grip)
Mods: Have double Hands-On for more super up time and Lightning Strikes Twice for more abilities (Grenade and Utility Kickstart are also quite welcomed)
Specs: I use a 100 Recovery and 80 Intellect with a 50 Mobility but whatever suits how you use this works
Wanted a way to get those pesky shoulder charging titans out of your face well here ya go let them get their hit and then with a long lunge one shot them back and get half your health back in the process as you await your next victim.
Here’s a build for ya:
- *Class:* Warlock (arc)
- *Super:* Either
- *Jump:* Any
- *Rift:* Either
- *Melee:* Eithe
- *Grenade:* Flashbang
- *Aspects:* Lightning Surge; Arc Soul
- *Fragments:* Spark of Focus, Spark of Recharge, 2x flex
- *Exotic Armor:* Stasis-element Getaway Artist
- *Stats:* 100 Discipline, whatever you’re most comfortable with for the rest
- *Mods:* 2x Grenade Kickstart, 2x Bomber, Targeting and Unflinching for weapon choices. For this season, replace one or both bomber mods with Lightning Strikes Twice.
- *Weapons:* One long-range, one short-range. Some combos I’ve found success with are:
- No Time and Without Remorse or an SMG
- Chaperone or Wastelander and that Demolitionist + Wellspring OGMA that Banshee sold a while ago
- Devil’s Ruin and a Messenger or New Purpose with Desperado
I know im late but
Arc Hunter build using shinobu's vow jolting gernades with the jump of your choice
Weapons include the tommy's matchbook and a special weapon of your choice i personally use a slug for a reason you will see in abit
The point of the build is to prime someone with a skip gernade finish them with tommy's to get amplified so you can close the distance easier to force peoples into tommys range and its surprisingly fast kd when overheated.
Three tips, yes tommys is meant to be hipfired but dont be afraid to aim down sights to extend its range. Lastly tommys can kill at surprisingly far distance if you have the chance to overheat it for its damage gets boosted when it does, like 35 to 40 meters distance if you get the jump. Lastly this build requires you to be aggressive and works best when you force people into fights they are not ready for which is why i choose amplified hunter for the extra speed.
Build I'm beginning to enjoy more and more. Scout for long range, gl for mid and corners and melee to finish after gl:
Arc hunter - gamblers, combination blow, pulse (most AoE grenades work)
Primary - any decent 150rpm Scout - personally for kicks I enjoy the garden prophecy 1 - love the scope and overall feel. Could use an smg for cleanup but i prefer the long range capability and use the dodge-melee to finish
Secondary - salvagers salvo - chain reaction, demo
Heavy - Thunderlord (any really)
Mods:
2x scout targeting, focusing strike, surge detonation - rest are up to you or any better ones if you have them.
Aspects:
Lethal current, flow state
Fragments:
Fairly flexible but I find sparks of magnitude, resistance, feedback and beacons work well
Here's a copy of something I put in the last video. I hope you try it and like it, considering the (somewhat) rehabilitated reputation of the bombardiers in this video.
I have a build I've been using for a while on void hunter that I've really enjoyed as a defensive and synergistic way to play the class. Here it goes:
Class: Hunter
Subclass: Nightstalker
Aspects: Stylish execution, Vanishing Step
Fragments: Persistence, Instability, Domineering, Leeching
Gambler's Dodge
Suppressor Grenade
Exotic armor: Bombardiers
Kinetic weapon: Dead Man's Tale
Energy Weapon: any void short-to-medium-range weapon with repulsor brace (I use Hero's Burden, but Unforgiven or The Epicurean might be even better)
The basic idea is to use the Bombardiers and other void debuffs on the hunter as defensive tools while dominating lanes with the DMT. You want to set up area control on long sightlines with the DMT, and then when challenged at close range you have a whole host of tools (bombardier bomb/dodge invis, snare, suppressor grenade --- last one can be swapped out for another grenade if you add the grenade weakening aspect. I like suppressors because suppression lasts longer than weakening and it opens up a fragment slot) to disorient and take away options for your opponent. Meanwhile, you're swapping to your SMG or fusion, and on killing a debuffed target (easy when Bombardier suppression lasts like 7 seconds) you get invis, truesight, and overshield.
Swapping out DMT for Jade Rabbit or another dominant kinetic long-range option (The Messenger, NTTE?) could make sense, as could swapping Hero's Burden for the aforementioned options. I hope you try it out and like it!
That's the idea, but it's posted on Reddit in a little more depth here: www.reddit.com/r/CrucibleGuidebook/comments/wh6cwq/highly_synergistic_defensive_bombardiers/?context=3
Got a PvE Titan build that I use in all levels of content that is a ton of fun and if nothing else a good laugh when your friends look at what you can do with pretty consistent set-up. The name of the game is crystals, crystals everywhere. Naturally this will be using the Behemoth subclass
Aspects: Tectonic harvest for those sweet sweet stasis shards from the almost never ending crystals we shall create. Followed by Howl of the storm for a quick cast freeze and, you guessed it, more crystals
Fragments: Whisper of shards for bonus regen, Whisper of chains for bonus resistance, Whisper of rime for even more survivability, and either Whisper of conduction for stat boosts and ease of use or Whisper of fissures for even more dmg if you so wish
Abilities: rally barricade for the shorter cooldown and glacier grenade for the crystals
Stats: 100 discipline and 100 resilience if you can manage it since these will provide ever so important cooldown reduction on you barricade and grenades of which you will want many
Armour mods: For this build grenade uptime is the most reliable thing you will have so run 2 or 3 copies of firepower (you can swap one of for font of wisdom if you need the super regen). Elemental charge to gain charged with light upon collecting an elemental well. and the most important thing, Elemental shards, meaning any stasis shards you collect will grant you 2 stacks of charged with light for even more grenades.
Exotics: for armour you have two choices. Either Armarmentarium for two grenade charges, or my personal choice, the Hoarfrost-Z. With the Hoarfrost you can cast your barricade for an instant aoe freeze for Ads and Champions, the safety this gives you in incredible and works especially well in enclosed spaces.
For your exotic weapon it is imperative that you run the titan exotic glaive, The Edge of Action. There is a funny little interaction between the glaive bubble and stasis crystals, any created inside will instantly shatter, meaning you can pop it on top of a boss, use super and just spam the right click button until either the boss dies or enters an immune phase
Other weapons: Use whatever you want really, anything you need for champions or just personal preference. One thing I would recommend is a rocket launcher of some kind, I personally use my Palmyra-B with lasting impression since you can freeze the enemy, shoot the rocket and just walk away.
Overall this build is a ton of fun for solo content or with a fireteam. Now I know most builds showcased here are PvP oriented but I just thought I would leave this here for anyone to pick up for themselves and show the rest of the D2 player base just how stupid a Titan build can be.
(And yes I am aware there are guides for almost this exact build out there, they gave me a good laugh when I saw a build I created myself showed off by some creators. I will not claim credit for this build but just know that I created it for myself without any prior guides, and now I share it with you lovely people)
The amount of times I’ve surprised a group of people with bombardiers and chain melee on arc is weirdly high AND they looks sweet
Uh aren't you supposed to be vaulted along with the curse of Osiris dlc
Btw what does the content vault looks like
Arc warlock build:
Weapons: Ace of spades, explosive personality w/ disruption break + ALH, and a heavy of your choice
Arc config: Empowering rift, ball lightning, lightning surge, electrostatic mind, spark of magnitude, spark of focus, spark of ions, and spark of shock
Mods: Melee kickstart, outreach (possibly 2x), radiant light, charge harvester, high-energy fire, and hand cannon targeting + unflinching
Exotic: Any that increases melee uptime (if you do see this, I would be interested in knowing what exotic would work best here. I've been using claws of ahamkara because it's the only relevant one that DIM finds decent-stat loadouts for, but it unfortunately forces me to remove melee kickstart and replace it with something else)
Usage: Hit an enemy with explosive personality and then follow up with melee (ideally the slide blink melee thing) or ace (headshot and bodyshot both should finish most players; bodyshot is a bit inconsistent against higher-resilience players even though the numbers shown add up to 201). If following up with ace, use empowering rift for two-taps.
My go to titan build for trials and comp
Subclass: Sentinal with offensive bulwark and bastion, with rally barricade
exotic armor: peacekeepers
Kinetic: Osteo Striga
Energy: A wave frame(preferably with auto loading)
general idea is to break sheild with the wave frame and finish with osteo
Void Titan Build
To hopefully make up for your past luck with dead messenger, I came up with something that's been successful for me
Biting Winds w/ Swashbuckler
Dead Messenger
Second Chance Exotic Gauntlets
I prefer Second Chance for throwing shields but Inmost Light is good too
One arrow to the head, throw shield-profit with now one shotting arrows. The wombo combo works from decent distance as well and the throwing shield can hit people around walls if they go for cover
Dead Messenger + Throwing shield, profit as the shield either hits them directly or bounces off a floor or wall and hits them
Here’s one for you if you haven’t seen it:
Getaway Artist, Piece of Mind, Dead Messenger.
Use the Arc Soul and Lightning Surge aspects along with the Spark of Beacons, Spark of discharge, Spark of recharge, and either Spark of Resistance or Spark of focus fragments. You should also use two bomber mods and a grenade kickstart if possible.
Every time you spawn, you switch Dead Messenger to arc, eat your grenade for getaway artist, and then here’s your kill loop: If you slide, shoot Dead messenger, and then click melee, it will 1-shot, also, if your arc soul gets around two bursts, which is very quick with Amplified (Getaway artist amplifies you) majority of guardians will die in a single Dead Messenger shot at that point. With Spark of Beacons causing blinding effects on kills, it makes anyone nearby very easy to clean up, it does pretty high damage as well and especially if they get hit by the Dead Messenger, very easy kills
Fun solar hunter build: Cyrothesia with a lightweight bow with swashbuckler or a precision bow with either lightweight throwing knife or heavyweight with mecheneers trick sleeves with healing grenades with the fragment that makes you radiant with powered melees
Also hunter build I enjoyed using for a while in rift was Frostees plus Travelers Chosen with Catalyst.
Radiant Dodge
Healing Grenade
Weighted Knife
Aspects: Gunslingers Gamble required the other two are preference
The Fragments were Ignitions cause scorch, more scorch stacks and increased ignition radius also recommend pairing with Beloved with Enhanced Incandescent.
The healing grenades proc osmosis so the idea was to use healing grenades to keep yourself sustained and use travelers chosen and beloved to stack gamble charges. Weighted knife is to cause ignitions on scorched targets and with enhanced incandescent plus gamble and ember of ashes you can chain ignitions.
Exotic idea
Heavy Trace rifle-special ammo-kinetic
Name- idk
Intrinsic trait-get to give, fires a suction beam that saps life force. kills and continuous damage with this gives stacks of sacrifices. The more sacrifice you have the more damage you deal with this weapon. (Max stacks is 6)
Intrinsic perk- hold reload to shoot a heal grenade that boosts damage and recovers health in a small area. More powerfully the more stacks you have, consumes stacks.
Lore quote-sacrifices are needed to prevent sacrifices
Class-bubble titan with shoulder charge and bastion
Exotics- Huckleberry and peacekeepers
Secondary- energy gl with auto loading disruption break( maybe turnabout if lucky)
Mods- As many as possible To make hot swapping from the gl to hucklebrrrrty
The bubble and bastion are there you boost survivability. And bubble bubble boost, gl one shots. I like empty vessel for my gl, but dealers choice.
Death yeeter:
Class: solar warlock
Aspects: Icarus dash and touch of flame
Fragments: whatever
Exotic: verities brow
Weapon: solar primary (preferably with golden tricorn)
The Bard
Solar hunter: healing nades, lumina, acrobats dodge, radiant replenishing knives. Your friends will love you and your enemies hate you. Exotic armor of your choice, but double dodge charge is nice for maximum radiant uptime.
very situational build but when pulled off is very satisfying.
I call it the Hunter Birthday Party
Gun: Doom of chelchis (Firefly + Dragonfly)
Exotic: can’t spell it but the new hunter chest from season of the plunder
Idea: go invisible, shoot the scout and two things happen:
1. The scout becomes a 3 tap to the head
2. the explosion does 210 damage to guardians nearby. even if it doesn’t kill them instantly it’s a super easy cleanup.
Waiting for the chest to be enabled to play with it more
Warlock with rain of fire on void subclass. Deliverance, Vex Mythoclast, Taipan. Blink, healing well, feed the void, child of old gods. Whatever fragments float your boat. Fusion mods. Radiant while you can debuff opponents is beautiful destruction.
I have a stasis titan build that basically creates a overwhelming amount of stasis crystals. With hoarfrost z as the exotic rally barricade with tech tonic harvest and howl of the storm as aspects. Whisper of fissures, whisper of shards, whisper of rime, and whisper of chains. Of coarse with a glacier grenade 100 resilience 100 discipline. On top of that any weapon with the headstone perk to make more works. I also use a pulse rifle and a glave with a rocket launcher as my heavy
Titan build.
Thor
Striker (Touch of Thunder/Knockout) Thruster, Catapult Lift, Ballistic Slam, Storm Grenades
Lion Rampant
Last Word
BXR Battler (recommend either Pugilist or Demolitionist/Kill Clip, depending on playstyle)
-Can be effective at all but the most extreme ranges
-Can be used as an aggressor or defender
-Ballistic Slam can sort of be used like Shatterdive, if needed.
Name: boomstick
Flavor text: BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE
Weapon type: Energy solar pellet shotgun
Exotic perk: chargeable shotgun: this gun can be charged consuming 1 bullet every 2 secs the trigger is held. Release the trigger fires all shots in one huge shot. Charging for 3 secs after all shots are consumed cause the gun to detonate killing the wielder
Exotic perk: Explosive payload
Catalyst: TIMED PAYLOAD
My personal themed build: auto holster pardon our dust, fighting lion, voidwalker with blink, vortex, and nova bomb cataclysm. Exotic is claws of ahamkara for more boom. ALL THE EXPLOSIONS
My current build for PvP. The Crossing Guard.
Class: Titan
Sub Class: Stasis. Duskfield grande. Aspects - Tectonic Harvest and Howl of the Storm. Fragments - Shards, Chains, Torment, Durance.
Exotic: ACD\0. So many feedback kills with this.
Kinetic: Herod-C. Any long range weapon will work. The Hakke origin is nice for breaking barricades and stasis turrets.
Energy: Glaive. Your prefence, I run Enigma.
Power: Dealers choice. I run Colony because it's funny as hell.
The idea is to slow down the game. With Arc being very high speed, low drag now this shuts down that. Use Duskfields on doors and corners or control points. Shuts down amplified. The kinetic is longer range for when the game swings that way. Yes half of the fragments are to be used with crystals but I have them mainly for stats. You could use Howl to create crystals but then having to swap weapons to do so is a pain.
use forunner with tripmines and gunpowder gamble so you have 3 nades
Oh boy, you might blight my soul for this build:
Piece of mind, glaive of choice, heavy of choice, arc titan w catapult jump, thruster, it’s shoulder charge, storm nade, thunder crash, KO, juggernaut, sparks of shock, magnitude, amplitude, and focus, and the basic charged with light set up and targeting mods. With Antaeus wards. By basic I mean including swift charge. I hope no one steals this BC this is pure evil and I love it.
Scorching tsunami build:
Sunbreaker titan with Consecration and sol invictus with thermite grenade
Armamentarium for more thermite grenades, Monte Carlo, explosive personality, and any solar heavy (preferably rocket launcher).
Mods must be blast radius and heavy handed.
Alright, I got an arc warlock build:
Aspects: Lightning Surge, Electrostatic Mind
Fragments: Spark of Resistance, Spark of Momentum, Spark of Discharge, Spark of Ions
Exotic Armor: Karnstein Armlets
Armor Mods: Double Melee Kickstart, Radiant Light (only if you need help getting max strength), Striking Light for its secondary perk Uncatchable
Weapons: Any close range kinetic, Wave frame grenade launchers (Deliverance or Dead Messenger work best) or Delicate Tomb
The gameplay loop for GL is Sprint, Slide, Shoot mid slide, Melee. This makes it really easy for melees to clean up the GL shots.
Delicate Tomb's loop instead uses the fusion for clean up, and spread shots are tighter when coming out of Lightning Surge.
The build I’ve been using recently is arc titan with wormgods chaperone juggernaut and knockout, just shotgun punch and all melees after will oneshot
Great PvP build:
Phoenix protocol + Nova bomb
Roderic-C (double sidearm mods for reload, targeting and unflinching)
Due to its INSANE nade uptime this build absolutely dominates in big team modes such as rumble and elimination. Not to mention the infinite use case it has due to absolutely all bases being covered. Need range? Roderic C. Need close up? Roderic C? Need to pay your overdue debts? Roderic C.
Stasis titan with armamentarium, glacier wall, every aspect that increases explosive damage, then use a wave frame gl and any primary you feel comfortable with. Throwing a wall behind your enemy then wave framing in front of them to damage them while blowing up at least half the wall behind is a guaranteed kill when done right
Great PvE Warlock Void Build: Exotic Nezarec's Sin- Super Nova Bomb: Cataclysm Healing Rift/ Burst Glide/ Vortex Grenade Aspects: Feed The Void/ Child Of The Old Gods- Fragments: Echo of Instability/ Echo of Persistence/ Echo of Remnants/ Echo of Expulsion (Helmet: Ashes to Ashes, 2x Elemental Ordinance, Minor Discipline Mod)
(Gloves: Minor Recovery Mod, Grenade Kickstart, Font of Might) (Chest: Recovery Mod, Thermoshock Plating, Melee Wellmaker) (Legs: Recovery Mod, Linear Fusion Rifle Holster, Bountiful Wells) (Bond: Recovery Mod, 2x Perpetuation, Protective Light) Run with Witherhoard, Funnelweb, and Taipan-4FR
I built my warlock around the snap melee. It’s not really built for PvP, but it’s ridiculously good at add clear in PvE. I have 100 strength, grasp of ahamkara, heat rises, the aspect that lets me melee while gliding, fragments that increase amount of scorch stacks applied, ignitions spread scorch, killing scorched enemies returns melee energy, and one more that I can’t remember, supercharged, melee well maker, seeking wells, elemental charge, the charged with light mod that gives melee energy when you use your melee, Ammit AR2 with extended magazine, enhanced incandescent, and enhanced ambitious assassin, wastelander with pugilist and trench barrel, and cry mutiny with incandescent and swashbuckler.
You can melee almost constantly in midair as long as you are killing one or two enemies with each one, which isn’t hard. You can also get closer and focus on a single tougher enemy and ignite them with a single melee if enough projectiles land. If that doesn’t ignite them then the second melee will definitely stack up enough scorch stacks to ignite them. I can easily clean up huge crowds of red bars and even orange bars. I’ve run whole missions and strikes without shooting a single enemy because my melee is a better option and I always have at least one charge available.
ive been having some fun with this one
lumina +boots of the assembler
arc subclass running Arc souls and electrostatic mind, ball lightning melee and blinding nades
forbearance wave frame GL, if you dont have forbearance any wave frame will do.
I've made symmetry work. Arc warlock using crown of tempests, I have focused on class ability to the point I can cast rift after rift , gain arc soul then lead up with the tracking arc shot from symmetry. In gambit invading, it's like I'm cracked out on some spooky shit because I'm clapping cheeks with its huge stabilization and knack for hitting headshots.just sitting in a rift with a supercharged arc soul and making people constantly respawn or hide is a great way to make symmetry viable. Slap on the scout stability mod and target acquisition mod and boom...it's spooky time
lucky raspberry with jolting grenades.
aspects: flow state, tempest strike
fragments: ions, shock, amplitude, recharge
mods: taking charge, 1 or 2 fire power, 2 bombers, powerful friends (if mobility needed), and whatever else to become charged with light based on weapons.
weapons: volt shot or deomlitionist primary, or really whatever works best with good secondary.
everything else not specified doesn't matter.
the goal: prove arc bolt is the best by throwing as many grenades as possible and arc your arc bolts further with jolt to kill those groups with one grenade. trust me its happened
I've been enjoying a build for my titan thats just a lot of fun
Arc Titan with Armamentarium
Touch of Thunder and Knockout. Only fragment that matters is Spark of Magnitude, others to taste.
Demolitionist special grenade launcher (I use Ignition Code) and Quickdraw 120 Handcannon (I use Igneous Hammer)
Important mods: Bomber and Ashes to Ashes. Bonus points for Lightning strikes Twice. It's just a lot of fun to lock down areas and control hallways.
Arc titan with witherhoard, ballistic slam, juggernaut, the aspect that enhances storm grenade, a pulse rifle with dessperado and dunmarchers.
This build would be best at going against multiple people, combining wither hoard with a storm grenade or ballistic slam to defeat enemies within seconds and the pulse rifle to cover range.
Build: Funny haha bow
Class: Solar Hunter.
Super: Deadshot.
Class Ability: Gambler's Dodge.
Knife: Proximity.
Grenade: Healing.
Aspects: Knock 'em Down, On Your Mark.
Fragments: Solar, Torches, Benevolence, Combustion, Blistering, Char if you don't care about Blistering.
Weapons: Lumina, and Wolftone Draw with harmony (I have Eager Edge Vorpal Other Half as movement option when I have power ammo. You can also use it to kill things I guess).
Exotic: Ophidia Spathe you could do the Proximity specific exotic if you wanted but I don't have them so...
Combat Mods: Taking Charge, High-Energy Fire, Melee Wellmaker, Elemental Charge, Stacks on Stacks, Super Charged, or Seeking Wells depends on preference and armour mainly.
-My mods-
Dynamo on Helmet
Fastball and Impact Induction on Gloves
Just resistances on Chest
Absolution and Invigoration on Boots
Distribution and Bomber on Cloak
-Stats-
I always have 100 Mobility and Strength I just like it that way you don't have to use it like that but it feels way better.
I know Resilience and Recovery are both important but I don't really bother to much with them I just let them be for the most part.
My Discipline is 10 which is why I have so much stuff to cover for it
Intellect is the same as Resilience and Recovery I don't really pay much attention to it and just let it be.
-Play Style-
I don't know how to describe it, cause you act like a support giving healing and buffs while also having 3 or 4 ways to have your bow one shot people. I think it does suffer if you are being overwhelmed a bit since you don't have much in the way of oh shit buttons other than throwing out 2 proximity knives.
I’ve got a build for Hunter. Young Ahamkaras spine, tripmines, tripmine knives, with Gunpowder Gamble and on your mark aspects, with fragments meant for scorching and getting grenade energy back. Max discipline, and if possible, charged with light firepower mods.
Lock down virtually EVERY single chokehold in a major map. If your opponent isn’t worth half their salt, it’s gonna be a bad day for them.
Oh I have one. It's a warlock build I use from time to time. Burden of Guilt (with harmony preferred), Strident whistle or Wolf tone Draw with harmony, Rain of fire. Solar well works best, with extended harmony time or harmony on solar kill (if you have strident whistle). Get a fusion kill, proc both radiant and harmony, and one tap a couple people 9 res or less with the bow. Somebody pushing? Swap back to the fusion, and swap back to the bow and ruin somebody else.
A build that I run as an ark titan. Pretty simple, but I use it to move around. Wastelander or chappy (both work) with either the battle rifle, under your skin, or a good hand cannon. Dunemarchers for the speed, and eager edge other half (or half truth). The only fragment that actually goes off in pvp is feedback and (maybe) resistance. Also touch of thunder and juggernaut
Forgot to mention flashbangs, shoulder charge, and thundercrash. Also using sunshot w/ wastelander is a more fun combo than chappy + battle rifle
Holy shit, I made it in! With an S rank in flavor, no less. You're totally right that solar isn't required for the build, but I couldn't pass up the aerial gameplay, radiant, healing nades, long range melee, and Icarus Dash.
I don’t think I can deny it any more. This is hands down my favorite destiny channel. Keep up the good work Mesome 👏🏻
I've been sent very flavorful messages for this one
Void Hunter, Gryfalcon, Transfiguration with (ideally with rampage+kill clip), devil's ruin. Bonus points if you're playing with an omni hunter. The idea of this build is to spam invis and then nuke whoever's unfortunate enough to be on the other end. You can do this with other energy weapons, the main thing I use with this build is the transfiguration. I like the devil's ruin because it covers a range weakness well and it melts pretty much anything with a damage buff applied.
Nerdy optional extra build stuff. I was running this with magnetic grenades (personal favorite) and double utility kickstart. I also had double melee kickstart with pretty standard hunter stats. Highly recommend using unflinching for the scout as its zoom is relatively high. Please go make people sad, this builds great.
How about a team build?
Stag warlock - stasis, icewall nades with damage resist fragment, healing rift
Omnioculous
Renewal grasp hunter - touch of winter and DR fragment
All 3 use unstoppable force glaive. Start layering damage resist and enjoy. All 3 can cast DR at the same location and use glaive block for max resist
so Im not sure if this has been commented before but a build Ive been working on I call the Team shot Warlock
Arc warlock with eel
Getaway Artist
No time to explain
stats prio: Resil, Recov, Disp
using mods and fragments that generate grenade energy
the gimick is just have 2 turrets fire along side you since your team wont
it also makes some pve content really funny since you just walk forward and the turrets will take care of most things
young ahankara's spine, weighted knife, tripmine, perse-d explosive payload, ammit ar2 incandescence,
a loadout with a more defensive oriented playstyle in mind but can be offensive whenever needed. using the tripmine for either lockdown a lane, watch your blind spot or killing an enemy that got 1 - 2 hits fron the AR since the damage of the tripmine is really high, ammit will cover close to mid range while perse-d will cover mid to long range and weighted knife act as point blank/anti-ape if you're accurate plus get your tripmine back with the help of young ahamkara, if you're a capable weighted knife user, you might be able to clear a whole room with only the weighted knives. This is kind of jack of all trade but will cover every single ranges. you can even outsnipe a sniper rifle since explosive payload is going to cause them a lot of flinch and will have no damage falloff.
arc warlock lightning surge with dead messenger. slide then fire dead messenger before using powered melee, one shot no need to aim so long as they are not in the air. important to get the timing right by first sliding, firing dead messenger then using charged melee. can go pretty far if needed.
Exotic idea - for Warlock Chaos Reach
Heart of Kyber (warlock chest piece)
Exotic Perk - Kyber Beam
Converts your Chaos Reach into a single supercharged bolt of energy that deals increased damage, blinds and jolts enemies in a large radius upon impact and makes you and nearby allies amplified.
Right now, warlock arc supers suck & nether do enough damage. Stormtrance fails to capture the Emperor Palpatine fantasy and tickles like a wet noodle. Chaos Reach just doesn’t hit hard enough, takes too long to cast and leaves you incredibly vulnerable. The KYBER idea comes from Kyber Crsytals in Star Wars, which powered lightsabers and the Death Star superlaser. I’ve long been saying Chaos Reach needs an exotic like Celestial Nighthawk, increasing its damage and converting it into a short single blast cast animation, letting you get back to DPS quickly in boss situations.
Biting winds (swashbuckler)
Solar smg (i use tarrabah)
Solar hunter with aythers embrace
Healing nades for streaking out or tripmines for defense
6 shot goldie
High mobility and discipline with gamblers dodge for knives
Hit shots with the smg then swap to bow after chucking the knife where enemies are swash will 1 tap any resil and you can streak out. Hit 3 7ths with this build so its pretty fun
I've got a mainly PvE build so not sure how well it's going to hold with crucible.
Hunter - solar (either deadshot or blade barrage depends on mood), gamblers dodge, triple jump, knife trick and swarm grenade. don't really care about the aspects besides the stat boosts ones. Main gimmick - The Dragon's Shadow exotic chest piece, Monte Carlo (preferred) auto rifle or Ace of spades hand cannon.
I hate using anything besides auto rifles so I stay away from scouts and pulse rifles, but I'd be interested to see what you'd come up with to make this more PvP oriented.
Its a solar build but something iv recently been enjoying. Hunter gunslinger with weighted throwing knife. Assassins cowl and a 120 hand cannon with swashbuckler. And i pair it with a slug shotgun but shooters preference on that. The goal is to engage first with the knife aiming for the brain bucket then follow up on the homies with 2 long distance lobotomys from the 120
Void Warlock Funny Loadout. Absolutely slaps in rumble when I use it.
Kinetic Pin Point Slug, Graviton Lance, any void heavy of your choice, Nezarec's Sin, Feed The Void, Chaos Accelerant, Vortex Grenade, Echo of Expulsion, Echo of Leeching, Echo of Instability. And go for high DIS and STR for grenade and melee spam.
My personal favorite I was using in IB, Khepri's horn, explosive personality, thermite grenade, consecration. 4 solar waves. They all set up for the other to get a kill. Khepri's is so funny to get kills with and works surprising well at dealing with roaming supers. I had a number of them run along side the solar wave and get ticked like 6 times and die.
I know you said you've tried dead messenger a ton of times, but have you tried it with the rain of fire boots. It allows you to just run in and get one or two kills, I used it in comp a little bit and had fun with it.
Rat king and any wave fram GL
Void 3.0 with Gemini jesters
Suppressor gernade and vanishing step+trappers ambush+gamblers dodge.
The idea here is to never, ever let your opponents know where you are between invis, Gemini, and smoke bombs. Hit with wave fram and clean up with rat king.
Arthrys with golden tricorn summoner is a sixeso monster or any swash smg. Radiant stacks on top of the weapon perks.
Name: phoenix rise(Warlock armor)
Flavor text: I WILL PROTECT YOU!
Armor type: boots
Exotic perk: Guardian angel: when you are alive it grants scorch(5 stacks) to EXOTIC SOLAR weapons. Once you die you spawn a fire spitting turret at your death location that protects your ghost for 5s.
