Transition House Helps Brooklyn Diocese Priests Conquer Sobriety

Monsignor Joseph Calise will always consider himself an alcoholic. Though he’s been sober for 30 years the pain of his addiction has stayed with him which is why he’s helping to oversee Transition House a resource he didn’t have all those years ago. Transition House is a unique model designed to help priests suffering from addiction and also offer a place of respite and reflection.
