The Stick Season jacket looks fantastic! As I am a birth worker, I am invested in women's healthcare. Staffin Shawl will be my first purchase! Thank you Rebecca, for supporting the Fistula Foundation and their efforts ❤
Hi Rebecca. I have really enjoyed you vlogmases. Actually, yours’ is the only one I’m watching this year. My husband was just diagnosed with cancer and we’ve been in a state of anxiety and stress. Spending time watching you and puppy has been a great diversion for us. I love all your patterns (new and old). Watching you go about your daily life is more interesting than you think! Also, I laughed when you were packing for the puppy. We have a dog and it’s funny because packing for him takes longer than it does for us. Anyway, thank you for all you do. I’m a big fan.
Rebecca, you are absolutely a designer worthy of being featured at Stephen and Penelope. Congratulations! As an aside, my no-stick Stick Season sweater made from Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok is my favorite sweater, and I have.a lot of sweaters!
I hope your charity pattern does really well - i have purchased my copy and cant wait to cast on 😊 Also, i like your fast talking, i find your energy and enthusiasm very contagious!! Have a wonderful trip ❤
I always enjoy listening to you. You do speak quickly, but over time, I’ve become accustomed to it. It’s a good challenge for an old brain. And now, to me, you are speaking at a good normal pace. So thanks, because it makes it easier to understand my grandchildren. I love all of your designs. Have a Merry Christmas Rebecca 🎄🎄
Can’t wait to get my hands on the Staffin Sweater pattern. Thanks so much for going to the trouble of doing a written pattern, it definitely works better with my brain than a chart.
Hi Rebecca, thank you for this fun podcast and congratulations on your exquisitely beautiful pattern/Jacket. I can't tell you how satisfying it is to go from seeing your yarn arrive in the post and you unpack it, the process/progress while knitting, then the Launch podcasts like this. It's incredibly inspiring, not that I have a designers bone in my body, but I am in awe of seeing the yarn balls become a creation, and then I get to knit them!!! So thank you for all of that and Im really enjoying your vlogmas, too. Safe travels.
Thank you SO much! I was thinking recently about trying to share pattern updates until closer to the launch but I just can't stop sharing about them on the podcast. It's too fun not to talk about it!
The cable cardigan is gorgeous and i will be wanting to knit it once the pattern is out. I have honeycomb in my Junko pattern Hana. I loved knitting it. And i also want to knit another one of that pattern. Oh to have more hours in the day 🤣🤣
Rebecca, you didn't have to yeet us that hard 😂 It was hilarious, good that camera didn't break. To be honest I don't get when people are whiny and comment that someone is speaking too fast, the option to slow down videos is there for years. And there are auto closed captions. I'm not even native English speaker and I never had any issue understanding you. Okay, now I'm off to buy the Staffin Shawl pattern, it's so pretty and looks so warm and cozy. And it uses reasonable yarn weight, not light fingering like the one I just made 😂 Even if I won't make it this season, it's a very good reason to buy it. Thank you for helping other women ❤️
congrats on the launch! it's such a lovely pattern that i will wear all the time once it's finished. also, one hundred percent relate to the kathy cardigan struggles; i'm reworking up my stick season jacket on a different needle size and it's a world of difference lol
Thank you for another great podcast! I really appreciate your pattern for charity. I love all the stick season options. The shawl collar hip length all over texture cardigan is my favorite. Safe travels! ❤🧶
🥰 Wow ! You sure have been so very productive. I am so looking forward to knit the Honeycomb sweater or cardigan ... I always listen to you on 75% speed, it helps a lot !!! Have a wonderful holiday period with your loved ones. 🎄 🧑🎄
The Stick Season Jacket is absolutely gorgeous and you are so generous in what you provide. My choice will be the shawl collar version, with fingers crossed that it’s not beyond my current ability 😂 I can’t believe how fast you create and knit, but I really enjoy seeing your process.
Yesssss i just purchased both the Stick Season jacket (have been waiting for this since you first showed the sweater, and was drraming of a cardigan version) and the Staffin shawl ❤ so funny when you knocked the camera over 🤭 i enjoy how you left the footage in
Hi, I just wanted to say that your new glases look good on you. I love your video's. You are so enthausiastic about knitting, it is contageous. The fact that you talk to fast adds up to that. I also love your patterns, especially the patterns that come with more options for colar and style, cardigan or pullover. I am looking forward to your upcomming designs. I would love to testknit for you, for future patterns that you make. Love, D
I love your podcasts Rebecca. The bits of design know how are so interesting to me. I love it. Currently making my first fair isle yoke cardi and I'm kinda hoping it works out cos I've told my whole family about it😂. You have one of the best vlogmases of 2024 btw. ❤❤❤
Thanks for the recommendation on Rauma Vams, made my wife a Ranunculus in it and she loves it. Got some of their 3ply (3-Tråds Strikkegarn) for a golden yellow stick season.
After watching yesterday’s vlogmas, this podcast feels like time travel. BTW, all three of the tiktok knitting sisters are currently working on Creabea patterns, the only one not doing the test is making a Kerr sweater, which I love. Mine is one of my favorite knits, but I don’t wear it nearly enough, because I ran out of yarn and it came a bit too cropped.
I bought the stick season jacket right away! I've been wanting a knit jacket and that shawl collar completely called my name. It'll take me a little while to knit because I have so much I need to knit but I suspect it'll sneak onto my needles sooner than I might think!
Love the look of the stick season jacket, really like the blue and green versions. And the honeycomb sweater 😍 and the blue version and advent version of the Kintra 😍 I only find your talking for the first 30 seconds fast then I get used to it and it’s fine for the rest of the episode (I’m from NZ)
Now I am starting to doubt myself but I have been watching your Vlogmas days 4-11 and I could SWEAR you opened the grey skein. You even held the 3 yellows and the grey together.
okay so like i guess you're just designing my wardrobe at this point LOL also, i LOVE that you will be giving to the Fistula non-profit by sharing your profits - headed to your website now! 🏃🏻♀️
I love your designs! I'm a new knitter. I'm currently working on my third Sophie shawl😜. I want to graduate to sweaters. Do you have a very easy sweater pattern I could try. I think your lovely so thank you for your hard work. Happy Christmas!
Love a Sophie scarf! I have one in an angora that I wear almost every day! Handmade by Florence has a pattern called the Step by Step sweater and a TH-cam video that goes along with it. It’s a great place to start
Hi Rebecca ! Thanks for this episode, another great one. Could you please give the title and author of the book you mention about sweater constructions ?

LOVE this!

Your patterns and knitting are gorgeous! I love them all! You have such a great positive energy.

I think you’re the most prolific knitter and designer I know! It makes me happy to see how much you’re enjoying it all! 😊
The cable cardigan is gorgeous and i will be wanting to knit it once the pattern is out. I have honeycomb in my Junko pattern Hana. I loved knitting it. And i also want to knit another one of that pattern. Oh to have more hours in the day 🤣🤣
that was a brilliant idea, to design a sweater that you can use the advent calendars with, its reallly pretty! A big pat on the back!!
Excited for the Kintra pattern, too. It’s lovely.

The Cathy cardigan is gorgeous! It looks so good sleeveless!

Great podcast and lots of incredible projects. Have a wonderful weekend and a great holiday season.
Very generous offer for the fistula charity, thank you.
Thank you for another great podcast! I really appreciate your pattern for charity. I love all the stick season options. The shawl collar hip length all over texture cardigan is my favorite. Safe travels! ❤🧶
My mum is SO delighted with her longer length, shawl collar version!
🥰 Wow ! You sure have been so very productive. I am so looking forward to knit the Honeycomb sweater or cardigan ... I always listen to you on 75% speed, it helps a lot !!! Have a wonderful holiday period with your loved ones. 🎄 🧑🎄
The honeycomb cable jacket is amazing. I’d love to test knit any version of it. Congratulations on the release of the Stick Season Jacket

Off to buy the shawl, for the third year in a row 🥰 what an amazing job you do supporting this charity Rebecca 👏🏻
Love all the new patterns to be released love the white cardi can’t wait for that release
Enjoy the trip with the pup
Happy Christmas to you
Hahah "if elves appeared and had finished the sweater for me...I'd not be mad about it" Love! haha you got it woman! you can do it!
Yesssss i just purchased both the Stick Season jacket (have been waiting for this since you first showed the sweater, and was drraming of a cardigan version) and the Staffin shawl ❤ so funny when you knocked the camera over 🤭 i enjoy how you left the footage in
I was tempted to edit it out but though that everyone could enjoy my clumsiness
Your new glasses look fab and i love your charity patterns, i have already bought it ❤
I don’t think you ever talk too fast. You just have a lot to share 😊 x
I can't wait for the Kintra! Fantastic as usual and it'll be my first colorwork sweater!
Hi, I just wanted to say that your new glases look good on you.

I love that green on you. Lovely! Best of luck with your latest pattern.
The yarn was out of stock for weeks and I almost gave up and tried a different colour but I was SO pleased that I waited.
I love your podcasts Rebecca. The bits of design know how are so interesting to me. I love it. Currently making my first fair isle yoke cardi and I'm kinda hoping it works out cos I've told my whole family about it😂. You have one of the best vlogmases of 2024 btw. ❤❤❤
The new cable and lace pattern (Cathy Cardi?) gorgeous!! Feminine and eye-catching!!

I knit your Lauder vest this fall, so I'll be happy to knit the new cabled cardigan or vest next fall!
I bought the stick season jacket right away!

This Vermonter can't wait to cast on the shawl version of the Stick Season Jacket!! 🧶
Me too!
I cast on my version today! Or more likely my first of many 😂🎉
You are a HIGH CALIBER designer too!!❤
okay so like i guess you're just designing my wardrobe at this point LOL also, i LOVE that you will be giving to the Fistula non-profit by sharing your profits - headed to your website now! 🏃🏻♀️
HAHA Loooove this. My number 1 thing is to knit things people actually want to wear, so this is the best compliment!
I’m planning on a 4ply Kintra and hoping that I have enough of my main colour set aside. 😊
I feel I need you to make a book because I want to make everything you have designed
I love your designs! I'm a new knitter. I'm currently working on my third Sophie shawl😜. I want to graduate to sweaters. Do you have a very easy sweater pattern I could try. I think your lovely so thank you for your hard work. Happy Christmas!

You talk very fast…yesterday was amazing😂…but that’s why the option of playback speed is available. I find all Scots do well at .75.😂😮
It was VEEEERY fast, even I noticed it!
@@the.creabea If it makes you feel better, I speed everyone up, and even you about 1/2 the time! Today was perfect for me :)
Hi Rebecca ! Thanks for this episode, another great one. Could you please give the title and author of the book you mention about sweater constructions ?
It's Ann Budd's "Handy Guide to top-down sweaters"
@the.creabea Thanks 😊
The shawl collar cardigan is stunning!! Did you also use Rauma Vams for it, too? Thanks!!
Yup! They grey and the green are both Vams.
❤
oh by the way, the Ravelry link in the description for the stick season jacket is missing a 'w' in the 'www.' so it's not a working link!
Hi, the green jacket you are wearing. Where did you buy the yarn from thank you.
I bought it from Knitt.co.uk. It's Rauma Vams in Green Melange
I'm a Kiwi - you speak at my speed lol.
I speed up almost everyone I watch on here, except her! Although I admit, I'll still sometimes even speed her up
🧶🌈❤️
Video feedback: your hair-flipping today was very distracting. Love your content. Never have noticed it before. 😢
