Hi! I’m Valeria - a writer, content creator, and the visionary behind Dramatically Expatic. With a background in TV, where I hosted my own program (think a bit more formal than my current TH-cam adventures), I now thrive on the dynamic and creative freedom of the web. As an expat in Italy for eight years and counting, I hold a BA in Theatre and Film Studies and an MSc in Media Organisation from the University of Bologna. I have always had a huge passion for discovering new places, having traveled all around the world since I was a child, so there were no second thoughts when searching for my niche. Here I share my best advice on visiting Italy, budget travel tips to Italy, and all things living in Italy entails!

Thanks for another great video. I really can't understand how is possible that a channel like this gets so few views.. I'm Italian but I like watching your videos as well, because they are very well made, very professional. You are doing an amazing job giving a lot of interesting advice and showing my country in an incredibly nice way. I wish you to grow up in subscribers and views very quickly because you really deserves it

I rented an apartment near the Vatican for two weeks, through a third party site and the owner lied about the amenities. He advertised it as a rental with a shared kitchen, breakfast and staff and it literally just a room with beds, fridge and a bathroom. When I exposed him online, he sent me a text asking to take down the review. And while there he was always complaining about Expedia and bad reviews and was basically begging people for good reviews, because he said it's hurting his business, when he has only himself to blame. I would expect reputable third party sites to vet their properties. I personally wouldn't rent anything in Italy that isn't a normal hotel.

it's so hard to find apartments in Milán... the alleged landlords also message you from phone numbers that are from foreign countries, usually the ones from Africa
