Not for nothing, any other player on the team and I’m sure some players that’s on the team that never hit the court, could’ve hands down no problem do way better then melo did. The team definitely should’ve gave melo a wedgy in the locker room after that game

dang, lin should've signed with new york for less money; every game as a knick was crazy exciting; not the same ring when he was with the rockets or brooklyn. lin could've been the man with melo in NY the thing with Melo is he's a superstar so Lin should've figured it out how to make it work as the pg. this was a fantastic duel with Rose, jeremy held his own against MVP rose even stripping and block him a few times. And this was essentailly a rookie year for Lin. Imagine if he was given the keys the next year with th eKnicks instead of being with Harden. Sorry Lin made a terrible mistake signing with the rockets. kevin mchale hated his game.

In terms of athleticism, D Rose of course is much better than lin, the speed, the jumping, dunking…etc.
Thats the limitation of a Asian body.
But what Lin showing us is, even with something borns to be and can't change, there are still ways to be a star. The vision, the ability to unleash teammates potential (look at Chandler and Amare's stat when Lin was on the court)
I think the worst decision NY made is trading Lin
(apart from on the court, another thing is the commercial value from the Asian market)

Looking at DRose here and it completely baffles me how he won MVP. He wasn't outstandingly deadly in his shots. The Knicks defense was just terrible, clogging up the paint (what the hell was Stoudemire doing screening his own teammates with his back turned at 1:35, how about looking for the ball or holding the paint?), not stopping the ball, or just being unable to stay on their man. Put this Bulls team against this era's Warriors or even the Rockets, and DRose looks no better than an average PG.

      rose: 25, 4, 8 record: 62-20(no. 1 overall in the whole NBA(with noah)
that alone is the Statement, if u still think he isn't: you're just bigoted..
should've been co-MVP if u ask me, rose deserves his mvp:+ he's never gonna amount to anything anymore(career-wise) because of his fragile body, lol.

That Nicks team was nice tho. Melo ruins every team he plays for bottom line

Damn I was at this game and still remember that awkward silence when Lin rejected D-Rose not once but twice...

Screw the Knicks. The Bulls had a good core, it's sad they never took this anywhere close to a championship!

Melo's body language this whole game towards Lin pisses me tf off. Every calls Lin got, whenever Lin doesn't pass him the ball, he gets frustrated. Bro was acting like he's the only one in the team.

@3:28 seriously That’s the fastest Melo can run on transition defense? I’ve seen school girls with sprained ankles run faster uphill.
