With Bedard, Makar, Mackinnon, Crosby and Mcdavid on one team. There is no way USA is stopping those players.
As a Canadian i would have to admit that American hockey players are now as good as any on the planet and so would definitely be contenders for a gold medal. Team USA is now as good as Sweden, or Finland or Russia, or Czechia, or Canada. It will be very interesting to see what happens next Winter Olympics. It would be good for hockey for Team USA to win the gold. It's always better to have different teams win.

Wow, it's on like donkey kong now, lol. The goaltending is the wild card for Canada, but to me, Canada still has the better forwards and matches on defense. I just want to see best on best. Please go to the Olympics

In that whole line up you’ve probably named 2 top ten guys in Matthews and Tkachuk 😂. The other 8 are from Canada. MAYBE, a couple Russians,Germans. Bottom line team canada is way too stacked. They will destroy this USA team and it’s even close.

It's so funny to see all these videos of NA rosters and hyping them, but we have seen what has happened when some countries have "star studded rosters". For example Russia, Sweden and NA teams had WAAAYYYYY better roster what comes to the pure name value, but surprise surprise Finland won the tournament. Just saying that names back of the jerseys doesn't mean that they have better teams, yeah they have better individual skills and all, but does everything click, not so sure. After all Olympics and IIHF WC are short tournaments and putting some good players to the same team doesn't always pan out as intended. Besides people have to understand that Finland's population 5,5 million compared to USA which is 330 million and Russia 150 million or something just as an example, even Sweden has around 11 million.

As a Canadian it sucks to admit it but the US will definitely win the next Olympics. Their skaters are on par with Canada but they are beyond stacked in goaltending. Demko, Hellebuyck, Swayman, Desmith, Oettinger, Quick, Lindgren. Canada will be lucky to get silver.
