Radahn's fighting style is interesting. It's very aggressive and in-your-face, brutal and purely functional in contrast to the beautiful aestheticism of Malenia's. Where somebody like Malenia or Rellana would go with the ebb and flow of battle and strike in measured, fast bursts, Radahn is just always attacking at a consistent pace to the point that the constant pressure becomes a form of defence. But a very, very few times that works against him, as if he fights an opponent that can actually withstand his onslaught, he doesn't actually dodge or keep at a distance much, so he gets hit a lot. The same goes for if you fight him as a player with the parry strat- with a shield he's much more predictable than Messmer or Malenia since he's pretty much always trying to attack. Since the dragonslayer armour has a shield here, it could exploit that- but not nearly so well against Bayle, for instance, because Bayle /doesn't/ always get up in your face. He sometimes keeps at a distance, and that's how he won so dominantly despite dealing much less damage.
What I love about Promised Consort Radahn's moves is that when you look back at Starscourge Radahn you can see very similiar moves but they very clearly feal sloppier. Makes perfect sense since his mind is long gone, when we fight him in Caelid.
I see a lot of people complaining about the poise damage but DSA isn’t a person, it’s just a reanimated set of armor and his stuff is insane compared to pretty much every other boss, his axe just LOOKS like it should be a poise breaker, and that thing he calls a shield most definitely makes sense that it topples his opponents the way it does. Love the realism, rather than basing it off of in game stats
So basically you're saying the poise damage are fine because you think it looks like it should, by that logic Radhan should poise break the armor with every hit because he's carrying two sword shaped 10ft long slabs of of steel
There is no way you did not modify Radahn's poise value... every other boss withstood the armour's attacks and he couldn't take 2 without being poise broken...
When porting over DS3 bosses, you've got to adjust their stance damage man. You've buffed Dragonslayer Armor's HP and damage, why not adjust it so that it doesn't stance break every two hits?
Моб конечно тупой. Выбить баланс противнику и пока тот в отключке наш идиот поднимает щит и стоит в блоке. Как враг отходит от оглушения и начинает атаку, то наш ваня дурачок убирает щит и впитывает урон

That stance breaking kinda feels unfair lol
Yeah DS bosses have busted stance breaking in return to their slow attacks
@@thecommentguy9380 Their attacks are not THAT slow. Most of them are actually faster. But maybe that's the case for Dragonslayer.
@@cowhale2488 when you got used with the likes of Malenia, they ARE that slow
@@thecommentguy9380 Fortissax, Astel, Fire Giant, Rykard, Gaius, Midra, Scadutree Avatar, Putrescent Knight, Metyr

There is a mod called Inner Consort Radahn. Please do boss vs boss with that.
Im so exited for the DLC Battles!
No second phase? Damn
Bayle is not a normal dragon
In a world of lean and serpentine dragons, Bayle stands out by being an ABSOLUTE CHONKER.
@@Count.Saruman I love that contrast so much. Bayle is not majestic, he isn't divine, he is DREAD

Where's the butterfly ;-;.
But yeah that sheild puts in work.
