Akaza was NOT trying to kill Rengoku.. Gyutaro was trying to kill Uzui from jump. Then uzui was fighting poisoned the entire fight. Note: uzui is the Hashira with the best poison resistance. So if Rengoku was poisoned as well he would not have lasted. It’s already stated that each upper moon is equivalent to 3 hashira
bro the third rank upper moon was basicly made to kill rengoku. if not for his ability rengoku would have beat him but i don't think rengoku would be able to beat the second rank and especially the first rank. maybe fourth rank and 5th rank for sure

In the anime they don't portray the relationship with Gon and Kite nearly as much but in the manga Kite played a way bigger role in Gon's life which is why he had such a big reaction

About y'all saying that Kite was not that important to Gon, that's actually the fault of the anime because in the manga and 1999, Kite is literally one of the first characters we meet. He's the one to let Gon know that Ging is still alive and about what Hunters are, which fascinated Gon. Throughout the series, Gon will remember Kite and about how important he is to him. When he did return in the Chimera Ant arc, unlike the anime where Gon had no idea who it was, in the manga Gon IMMEDIATELY recognized Kite and reconnected with him. Kite is basically to Gon what Shanks is to Luffy. So I don't blame you for thinking that Kite was unimportant
As anime only watcher I had no idea. I always thought it was weird gon was so emotional over someone he just met. Yeah it was a crazy death but I never really felt a type of way about it cuz he had no character development
I accidentally watched 1999 Hunter and the 1st episode is Kite saving Gon in the woods or something like that. I really think the 2011* Anime butchered the fuck out of Kite because if something like that happened to Shanks EVERYONE would've had Gon's Reaction
Yes, on GOD. when I watch the 1999 series and read the manga I was hurt and annoyed. Gon forgetting the man that gave him his reason for living, his very drive in life and the reason he is where he is is absurd. It takes away from the emotion that he has towards kite when he dies. the 2011 make it seam forced when watching it I was thinking "like why are you so serious you just remembered kite like last week" and now your risking your life and future for him it made no sense when you thought about it.

Ima just say I can’t take shooters over RPG/adventure games because shooter like games rely too heavily on multiplayer in my opinion. Gaming with the homies always gone make the experience better but the stories in adventure games just way deeper and more customizable to the way you wanna play.
Also you play one shooter you basically play them all way more variety in the other games

Loved this video man, even watched “Mark” on the pizza commercial with Ranch. Enjoyed your guys’ commentary on these topics. I personally chose Edward between Ed vs Levi. It’s funny because Edward in the movie transports to Germany and the show AoT echoes themes from a militaristic world (inspired from Germany but similar to Japan’s old times).
Grew up watching DBZ when it originally was dubbed. Even now, going back to watch Gohan transform... Still hits to this day. The emotion, the music, the red line by itself behind Gohan was bad ass. When that happened I knew Perfect Cell had just F'd up😂😂

Ngl that did hit ridiculously hard back then and forever will, but seeing Goku go super saiyan for the first time damn near changed my life lol. First I was in shock that Krillin just got blown up. Then after Goku and Frieza's already epic fight, and after a Kaio Ken x 20 didn't work, and a Spirit Bomb failed, to see Goku reach a level where I felt confident he was really about to beat the dude NO ONE else stood a chance against, was wild. With Cell at that point I felt like the Z fighters would figure something out. With Frieza it felt damn near hopeless

The Ed vs Levy argument is really hard to justify in favor of Levy beyond it being the person's preferred character of the two. Ed 's alchemy is a deadly practice that Levy has little to no answers to. It all boils down to a fist fight because Ed can transmorgify Levy's blades through equivalent exchange. And to get the most out of his kit, Levy needs to be airborne. The cinematic flair of his best moments involve such. What can he do against a person that can use the very environment they'd fight in to his advantage? Ed's gone toe to toe with Mustang and Scar, two characters who'd do Levy in for sure.
Also Ed, even without his alchemy is pretty crafty. He's an exceptional martial artist. A fair bit of the time the alchemy is for creative flair.

Levi is not normal though, he's an Ackerman warrior meaning they're especially tuned to battle. With the gear and the thunder spear, Levi's maneuverability and unpredictability become a big problem for Ed. Just because Ed can throw some stone fists doesn't mean he'd actually land any shots on Levi. And Ed would need to touch Levi's blade to transmute it, and if by chance he does touch Levi's blades, Ed's probably loosing another part of his body. But then again Ed has a metal arm and leg which makes it a even bigger toss-up. Would be a dope fight if animated properly though.
@@kaydee1485 ed got a metal arm, ed is faaaaaaar smarter than levi its not even close. levi relyin on his gear is risky bc ed can change up the environment to suit him. ed has engaged multiple people with more combat experience than him but it didnt matter cuz hes just that smart and tactical. levi is nowhere near as intelligent as ed. nowhere near as resourceful. abilities, ed. also the blades be getting dull. i can see ed creating walls from the ground that shatter levi’s blades. only way levi wins is with a sneak attack

I honestly think Kite’s death was more impactful to me personally because the way Gon was after his death was cold. Also, we felt the same way Gon did since we didn’t even know he was dead when he ran 1s with pitou

That is the biggest difference between the anime and the manga. Kite was introduced in the manga in the very first chapter and was more attached to Gon and the story as a whole.

Kisame is an S rank rogue ninja in the Nation and a member of the Akatsuki. Fast enough that Guy had to go straight to Gate 7 to catch up to him and defeat him and is known to be the Tailess beast because the amount of chakra he has is about the same level as a tailed beast.

But kisame to be picked as the partner of itachi the most broken nigga in the akastuki if he really wanted to change the whole story he could have but let it play out to his intuition and left it to naruto. They forgetting Akaza straight up wasn’t trying. He was toying around, having fun with Rengoku while trying to convince him to become a demon so they can keep sparring instead of just killing him right then and there and “wasting his talent”

Ed's control is specific, he's not transmuting the whole world. Ed can't predict Levi's movements, he's a trained elite soldier and an Ackerman warrior. A well placed thunder spear would probably end Ed. Ed's reaction speed and combat skill is not on Levi's level. He's not catching Levi unless they're on a flat terrain.

Honestly, one of my all-time favorite games is Naruto- Ninja Destiny on my DSi. I would play that game for hours every day when I was younger.

Y’all do realize Gon is like a crazy person throughout the show if you really think about it , I wouldn’t say he’s kind like Tanjiro, Kite was also the first character in the manga and met Gon before the story started so idk why they didn’t include that scene in the 2011 anime😅

At first I had Rengoku, but John made a good point. Taking the matchups into play....Uzui is the better matchup for both Gyutaro and Akaza. He has resistance to poison and so far, Akaza has only been shown to throw hands. Considering Uzui has a past as a shinobi, he's also the better matchup for Akaza since he has experience in hand to hand. Rengoku getting clapped by the poison eventually, and honestly, Akaza was toying with Rengoku since he wanted to turn him into a demon...only reason he lasted as long as he did

I can kind of see where you're coming from but that hand to hand point doesn't really mean nothing. Even with a Shinobi background that doesn't mean much when you're going up against the incarnate of 200 years of martial arts. And if we're really going off of that, Rengoku is also a skilled barehanded martial artist because his first time meeting Sanemi as a Kinoe, Rengoku perfectly defended his attacks (he didn't counter because he didn't want to hurt him, even patting him on the shoulder after saying he didn't want to hit him back.)
Spoilers ahead:
I wouldn't say Tengen is a better match up for Akaza, but Rengoku was definitely a bad one. People seem to forget Akaza's compass needle detects a stronger battle spirit and adjusts accordingly. Rengoku had a rudimentary version of the see through world, and would have definitely become marked had he survived that night. (The mark wouldn't spread until after the Sword Village arc, because Tanjiro was only strong enough to manifest it during the Red Light District.)
@@umtrain1730 I don't think strength or skill is an indicator of bringing the mark. If that had been the case, then hashiras would have had marks before Tanjiro himself. I think it's near to death condition where a body temperature of 102.2° Fahrenheit and a heart rate of above 200 BPM was essential to summon and Trade your life with the mark.

Rengoku was teacher of love hashira (who is higher level hashira than uzui) uzui is 2nd weakest hashira.
Uzui is a sound hashira which ia a branch of wind breathing
Rengoku is a flame hashira which is a branch of sun breathing (the origine)
