So I need to step in to defend the mice since people say they’re responsible for the ugly dress. Cinderella was looking to update her mother’s dress before she got called away for work. The mice used the instructions that she intended to use and made the alterations that she was planning to make. So yeah. Don’t blame the mice’s bad design skills. They were just making the dress look like what Cinderella wanted.
The pink dress doesn’t suit her hair colour at all but i’ve got to admit, it’s my favourite princess dress😭 What i would have given as a little girl to wear it😢
@@HarvestMoon13 Same, the silver gown is definitely signature BUT the pink one had alot of heart since her animal friends helped to make it while Lady Tremaine was trying to undermine Cinderella's efforts. Damn shame her stepsisters were spoiled,jealous crab buckets and tore it up because the materials were items they threw out. I only say were since the following sequel had Anastacia have a somewhat face turn when she fell in love with that baker. [which I honestly found cute]

And her mother tries everything to destroy the blossoming relationship to not lose her daughter to happiness because she certainly isn't happy, she is bitter. Poor Drizella! 😱 Anastasia and Drizella look like cartoon figures and Anastasia becomes more beautiful when she falls in love and I like that too! 😁 Her lilac dress is also very cute! 💕

This scene made me want to learn sewing sooo badly! It is one of my all time favorite scenes from any Disney movie. How much more work it is for this little mice.. Tbh I feel like the pink dress being childish fits Cinderella’s sheltered life; I imagine she would be the type to find joy in cute and pretty things, especially since the last time she’d truly been content with her life was as a child before the loss of both of her parents. And she had her individuality and self expression forcibly stifled, so it would make sense that she may not have fully developed her own style yet beyond what she liked as a little girl

Cinderella also lives in her stepmother attic. She's dirt poor so I think her whole "over sized ugly sleep wear" dress isn't supposed to be pretty, it's functionable it keeps her warm and covered that all she needed
