- Case West picks up from where Dead Rising 2 left off, with Chuck fighting the zombified Tyrone King in the bunker elevator. TK overpowers Chuck and puts him down to the ground. When it seems Chuck is about to be killed, the elevator door opens and a man hits TK off of Chuck with a baseball bat, killing him and saving Chuck. The man turns out to be Frank West. Chuck thanks Frank and begins to recognize who he is. But Frank recognizes who Chuck is and what he is been accused of and is very hesitant to hear Chuck out. Chuck reiterates how Phenotrans caused the Las Vegas and Fortune City outbreaks and framed him for the latter. He also states that they also killed Rebecca Chang. Frank is shocked by the news, mostly about Rebecca's death. After hearing enough, Frank tells Chuck that he came to pick up Rebecca to investigate the Phenotrans Facility west of Fortune City based on a tip he was given by a source. Frank tells Chuck that he can tag along but if he finds out that Chuck had something to do with the outbreak, there could be serious consequences. Chuck reluctantly accepts and reiterates that he didn't do it, then Chuck see's Frank's camera and accuses Frank of just looking for a big scoop, but Frank says that there is a lot more to it then just a scoop. Before they leave, Frank's watch beeps and he gives himself a dose of Zombrex, owing to the infection he contracted in Willamette, five years ago.
Chuck and Frank are perched on a cliff, scoping out the Phenotrans compound in the distance, stating that they're off to find the evidence to clear Chuck's name and find out whatever the source has in for them.[7] The two break into the facility via the air vents, and make their way to the Shipping Office to contact Frank's mysterious source. After inputting codes at several workstation, the source is able to download information for Chuck and Frank, which they find in an office at the Secure Lab. While they discuss the development of Zombrex, the various people forced to be test subjects, and the lives it has cost around the world, Frank angrily throws his own supply away, but Chuck picks it up without his knowledge.
Eventually, they cut the power to the facility in order to free Frank's source, who turns out to be Isabela Keyes. Frank and Isabela had parted ways following Willamette, and he is surprised to see her. Frank is angry to learn she works for Phenotrans. Isabela explained that she was captured and forced to work for Phenotrans after the incident at the Willamette Mall; in addition, all her research on creating a cure was stolen by Phenotrans. After explaining herself, however, the director of Phenotrans, Marian Mallon, reveals herself in a room above them and sends in guards to capture the trio. Isabela manages to get away, leading Chuck and Frank to believe that she was only using them to help her escape. She returns shortly after with a gun in an attempt to free the two. However, Harjit Singh, the head of Phenotrans security, is sent to deal with the situation and promptly knocks out Isabela when she attempts to escape. She throws a flash drive towards Frank containing information regarding Phenotrans's practices just before fainting and being taken to Marian. Harjit, however, steps on the flash drive and tries to kill Frank and Chuck. - ภาพยนตร์และแอนิเมชัน

Modern Game Writers, take a page from the PS2/Xbox360 era....this was a time when you got a well written game, you couldn't wait to get home to play it. Nowadays, it's all about microtransactions, online only DLCs, broken prices of camal dung.....we need to go back to last gen gaming.....♠️❤🖤♣️♦️♠️

So does this mean that ending eight is Canon because without ending a Chuck Green wouldn’t know who Isabel was and what happened to her without Frank
I was also thinking this too, There is no way this game isn’t cannon in the series because it all connects 2 to 3 and in 3 chuck also mentions towards the end that he had previously met Isabela in a lab along with Frank West.
God i miss this era of dead rising, i know the dr2's didn't have the exact same vibe and seriousness as dr1 but it still felt like it was part of the same series atleast. Then dr3 came and devs thought "bigger equal better"
Dead Rising 3 is completely and utterly fine maybe open world is an issue but its miles better than dead rising 4
@@agimb2381 It has some very fine elements and some of the story is fine for what it is, but the game lost alot of personality trying to be something it's not, some dialogue is not that great honestly, zombies aren't that big of a threat, the game is laughably easy even on nightmare mode, too op weapons, building a mega-death truck by combining a bicycle and a car in less than 2 seconds is kinda silly and too op, the game takes away alot that made the original great like horror elements, feeling of hopelessness, the game made any sequel having to do an awkward manevour to dogde the "now nick blood was made into a cure" , the game is just too easy and tried too hard to appear to a broader audience, although it's ok to disagree with the stuff i've said here, i liked a bit of what dr3 did but if i could choose between dr3 and a game that plays out more like dr1 or even dr2 i would pick the dr1/2.

God the cutscenes in this DLC are so charming. Never got to play this. So annoying that it's a 360 exclusive.
