Lily Bernhardt hey sorry for the late reply, I’ve been so busy with work. It honestly depends in which station you work in. You will work a lot of hours. You will learn everything as you go. You can find me in aloha and I’ll fill you in with everything
@@keysointernational874 I don't mean to sound rude but certifications for what exactly? What are the names of the certs you received? I'm just trying to get a better understanding of the program lol
@Jake G what position are you actually going for? Because if your working on a cargo ship then your training will be different than working on a cruise ship
@@keysointernational874 I thought that training at Piney Point was all the same for the most part. You pick either Deck, Engine, or Steward department and you get certified in that field. After you get certified then you go to your local SIU hall and see what jobs are avaialable for the field you chose, which I'm assuming you saw a job posting for a cruise line and applied. Sounds like you chose deck department. I'm pretty sure the certifications would still be the same for cruises and cargo ships
After your contract ended how much money did you earn all together and what exciting things did you do off the ship
When you was working with NCL what did they do for the crews birthdays did they do anything special for them
lol, not really. It all depends on who you know there

How did you wait after training for them to contact you
How long did I wait? About a month, but I know things are different now, and some folks have been waiting for quite some time now
What license did you get while you were at Piney Point? Did you leave as an AB when you completed?
I work on a cruise ship so my training is a little different then other ships, I just received certifications
