  • Terminus is an 8K /360° video with a multi-channel soundtrack, created by a participant of the Art is Us project/courses. The video is the result of a reflective and creative process, attempting to defy the identity crisis that many people face when they have lived in several different countries. The creator/artist refers to these people as "Travellers," himself being an ultimate Traveler and a retired multicultural nomad.
The video, named Terminus, was produced in a special way so that it can be adapted to other multi-disciplinary interactive formats in the future. The aim is to bring up the dilemma hidden behind the question "where are you from?", which may sound innocent but is often used as a weapon of discrimination against some Travelers who have settled in a social environment. This question is sometimes used to profile them, especially if they don't speak the local language. It is sometimes even asked in the first few seconds of meeting, without a proper greeting or personal introduction, leading to the alienation of "others" and their exclusion from social groups or events. The artist had way too many negative experiences with this and decided to make a video about his "Final Stop" or Terminus, which can later be adapted for use by other artists in 360° video format.
He now sends the link to people who ask him the notorious question in the first two seconds, and most people enjoy it without analyzing the detailed elements of the artwork. The focus of the project is not on the creator, but on the journey that we all go through and the memories that we can take with us as technomads. In this case, the creator took his ultralight digital art and a synthesizer to the charted, concrete jungles of Slovenia.
The artist believes that the world would be a much better place without any preconceived prejudice based on people's color, origin, ethnicity, religion, nationality, status, beliefs, or vibes. This is the essence of their presence in reality.
