@@joannegarfold6056 , you are welcome. From my research( i stopped googling because it always ends with higher anxiety- I don't go there anymore) and experience it seems each person has slightly different symptoms and severity. I get pains in lower stomach and then usually followed by diarrhea. SOmetimes I get constipated really bad. It is quite possible that your pains are muscular, and if she/he said it was muscular it probably is. Like you said you/we should talk to doctors, but health anxiety holds us back. I Totally know what you mean about fear of doctors and illnesses. SOmetimes we just have to bite the bullet and make an appointment. I know it is very difficult, but it is something that has to be done. My health anxiety is very high today, and just talking/writing about it makes it worse. Sometimes I think my fears are irrational, but then the worry and rumination creeps back in. I probably wasn't much help to you today, but just know you are not alone. Keep in touch if you like.

@@_itscrisp h wow, sorry to hear that! I have been referred for a colonoscopy now as since I posted my comment both of my parents got diagnosed with bowel cancer and the IBS diagnosis was because I didn't know there was a family history of bowel cancer (I got told my grandad's was caught before it became bowel cancer which was completely incorrect, he had bowel cancer too). There is a one year waiting list to have a colonoscopy and they were very reluctant to put me on the list as I am still classed as young but when they heard my mum passed at 59 from it they said that is young to go from it yet my younger sister at 27 was given a colonoscopy and only had to wait about a month (thanks to her working in the part of the hospital that has been operating on most of our family to remove bowel).

My IBS is a sharp pain that doesn't go away for weeks or days in a row, together with big bloating, nausea and headaches plus the nasty bits we all know. Also very much tied to stress. Even tho I take my meds and painkillers, I find it hard to get into a comfortable position to sleep so I bought a pregnancy pillow. I can't touch dairy or eat much food at a time. Water and ice tea help with occassional dizzyness. I rely on deliveries on the very bad days since I can't leave home...

Eat fermented rice on empty stomach for 2 weeks or take it as 30 days challenge in between drink some coconut water and limit spicy. And You will totally cured. Search about fermented rice on TH-cam or check about the research done by tamilnadu government hospital and America gastro association. You can thank me after 30 days.

Nuts can also be a trigger, bloating and pain, but I still eat them from time to time for health benefits. Of course, nobody knows except my parents(rest their souls). There are times where I just hate having it or when it just comes out of nowhere. In the worst case when intestinal discomfort begins, what to do? .I am not a doctor but I would do this 1: it would make me vomit to get everything that hurts out of my stomach. Wow this just about diagnosed me. Really good information. I have scoliosis and ankylosing spondylitis on top of it all so my whole midsection is on fire. , but knowing really helps. Like your video says going to the bathroom helps but never fully. And the lower left quadrant issue is there. I hope to resolve issue more. I'm on Tramadol and diclonofac now for my back issues and sometimes take Excedrin to break away from other two. But will ask doctor if this is indeed what this is and will change eating habits and take whatever medication helps. Thanks for a great video

you are right, i also suspect I either have IBS or GERD, both are gastric related and it was apparent to me that its usually exacerbated by
      1) lifestyle (stressful)
      2) Dietary choices
      3) eating pattern and timing.
I'm not sure if i will ever get rid of it but I think the first step is in daily discipline and to learn to relax a lot more.

Hahahahahahah, I've had IBS since I married my first husband. That was 1972. But, I kept the IBS and lost the husband. He was a big cheater. It is indeed painful. My Dr at the time introduced me to Bentyl (dicyclomine)). The pain would stop almost instantly. I felt like I had drifted into heaven. But, about 3-4 years ago I came down with gastroparesis. After reading the side effects of Bentyl I find it could have caused my gastroparesis. It was a godsend for me at the time. I don't remember if I read the side effects list or if it would have changed my mind about taking it. I woke up one morning with severe stomach pain, and after tests like a barium enema, upper GI, I was diagnosed. IBS is not fun.😂

I'm just going to throw this in there because that's what I experienced on a high iron diet: I had gastroparesis and diarrhea, alternating. Doesn't this seem to be two different ways for the body to say no thank you? The first line of defence is hepcidin, shedding more iron in the renewing intestinal cells. If that's not cutting it, then diarrhea obviously does the job, but so does gastroparesis: by reducing motility, much less food volume gets exposed to the intestinal walls in the same amount of time, leaving much more opportunity for bacteria to instead absorb much more nutrients, especially iron since that is essential for bacteria to grow.

Does IBS always come with pain as a symptom? For a year and a half now the symptoms I’ve had have been the feeling that I need to go to the toilet in the morning, made worse by walking. This feeling tends to subside slightly throughout the day, but is always present. On occasion, that feeling will erupt into an urgent need without any real warning given. Occasionally, though rarely, there will also be a light nausea as well as a slight weakness felt in quadriceps. There is no pain however, just discomfort in the lower middle abdomen.
Because I don’t like going to the toilet in public this has limited my movement considerably. I’ve also developed an intense anxiety associated with public transport seeing as if ever that extreme urgency rears it’s head, I’d be trapped.

You sound a lot like me. The frequency of me having bowel movements is ridiculous. Some days I'm in the bathroom nearly all day. Its like I have a dumping day.. Maybe a day that's almost normal....If I have a "bad" day, its often followed by a good day....but trying to plan ahead is not easy....Its definitely altered my life style. Going for walks almost always causes me to have to go...My husband loves to walk in the woods and go hiking..I can barely do this now....The thing for me is I'm not really constipated and I rarely have diarrhea. I have pressure and cramps that indicate I need to start looking for a bathroom quick but It usually isn't terribly painful. .. My colonoscopy's show no sign of cancer. I do have hemorrhoids, and I have diverticulitis.

For my my pain is sharp and always in the same spot its under my belly button in the pubic area right where my belt buckle sits. Yesninwear it lose. It gets sharp and i need to go now so i do and it still stays painfully for a bit then goes away then comes back and i repeat this process. I normally put my thumb under my belly on the area when it flairs up and i can feel it pulsating. Im so tired of this been dealing with it for years. Thing is 3 days agao i ate the same place and was 100% fine and i ate more that day. I go there today and eat less and it flairs up bad. I also pass a lot of gas especially at night

Most of us do not realize that we are eating foods with preservatives and these preservatives are very subtle, soft, that are not persive with the tongue in taste and these weaken us so much that we get married a lot because they damage the intestine, the liver To the pancreas, the preservatives are in canned preserves, in vegetables, in fruits, especially in those imported from other countries. How to tell if it has preservatives is easy, you chop a little garlic and pour it over it food that you are going to eat is fruits, vegetables, cooked or raw food and the garlic will react and in that reaction it will change color from normal natural white to a light blue color and light greenish medium. Try and realize blessings. Just realize that vegetables and fruits have these preservatives. The reaction takes many hours, which is better done at night, and the result will be seen.
    Recommendations
1 : always prepare your own food and if possible do not buy food outside . Do not eat spicy food .
2: do not drink alcoholic beverages.
3 : eat fruits if possible chopped (about to rot) , do not eat the ones that are black or moldy that have already ongos .
4: make sure that vegetables and fruits do not contain chemical preservatives.
5: reduce the amount of sexual intercourse so that the body can have all the energy and vitality to rebuild and heal itself.

At first I had terrible gastric reflux. Whenever I ate, even just by small amounts, my stomaxh would hurt soooo much. Eventually went to the doctor and took meds for 2 weeks. Eventually it was gone. But then later on, I started having diarrhea. No other symptoms like pain, rashes, fever, etc. Just diarrhea. It's been a month now and it's still there. Loperamide doesn't work. I've tried probiotics that the doctor prescribed. Even the antibiotics didn't work... When I eat certain food like just soups, my bowels are perfect. But anything else, it just gives me diarrhea... I can't just have soup for the rest of my life. I have been monitoring what foods trigger it. But I wanna get to the bottom of it and find out what's been causing it so I can finally get the right treatment and management. If nayone has the same symptoms or is knowledgable, I would like to hear your insights 😢

Depends if we ingest the right strains, also the strength of the probiotic matters. I have noticed most companies put a huge amount of probiotic strains into their products. That can actually upset the stomach. Starting at a lower strength I think could help.
