I actually wept at the staggering beauty of your voice, vocal harmony, guitar playing and your expressive emotion captured in this recording. One of the biggest issues, if not the key issue I find with young artists playing covers of bands like Bon Iver, is that of all their talent, they seem to miss the larger picture. Justin Vernon's songs are more than just a soft words and imagery. Walker, I believe you have the piece of the puzzle almost everyone else misses. I could tell you could actually feel the meaning of the words, instead of just singing them. That's the whole reason Justin has an audience. We listen to music for how it makes us feel. This performance captured that perfectly.
