Some homes have pools - but because of our proximity to the mountains, the evenings cool off, and so they require a bit more energy to heat.

Hi Vikas, Calgary is one of the best areas for investment in Canada. For the last 5 years we've experienced a downturn economically, while the rest of the country saw huge gains. Now Calgary is back on the rise. The market is extremely hot. Prices could likely rise 15% this year - and its one of the most affordable markets to buy into. Staging varies - but a few thousand per month usually.

I’m what world is a strip mall and a YMCA “amenities”?!? Amenities are a subdivision pool, tennis courts, a club house, a stocked “fishing” lake, a playground, a park, a basketball court, a gazebo etc etc. anything the HOA pays for that you can use. Those are amenities, a strip mall isn’t an amenity lol

It doesn't tick one box, that it's in Calgary. Unless I see tech moving there, I am not betting on an oil-based economy.
Take note! Infosys just moved in, Benevity is a huge success story - and were attracting a lot more tech!
Benevity's founder recently also said it'll take Calgary over 10-15 years to build out a tech ecosystem.
Doesn't help that the young adult demographic is leaving in droves and not coming back.

@@BradMcCallum Sadly Toronto, Vancouver and surprisingly Nova Scotia. Calgary is a nice place to live (in the south, at least) but being "nice" doesn't outweigh the lack of prospects post oil crash.
@@BigChungusRedditElite I am currently living in Toronto and working for a big fintech firm in Silicon Valley. Toronto tech scene is more robust than San Francisco. Alberta should double down on tech investments/infrastructure, Oil-based economy is not super sustainable for the future.
I rather get more for my dollar. Just making other people rich spending your hard earned money for that kind of price.

No exaggeration man. We’ve went from 5 months inventory to 2. In the last four weeks everything is selling and the inventory is super low. Its already well documented, but wait a few more weeks - it will be all over the news. It’s a sellers market, and it pivoted in just 6-8 weeks.
He always wants the camera on him, so it's hard to actually see what the house is like. I came to see the house....smh.
Wrong. Tours that just have pretty homes in it without people get virtually no views on TH-cam. Why? Because people watch people. It’s not ego, it’s not narcissism, it’s the analytics. A gap over even 8 seconds without narration or someone on camera leads to a significant - 15-20% drop in viewership. That’s what the numbers say. Also, I’m hired to not just show the house, but to actually sell its features / things not so easily seen or understood through just just video of the spaces. Also i spent 35 hours making this video, when other agents just put a sign in the yard, so yeah, you bet I’m gonna be in the video. I want people to buy the house, get to know who i am, and call me in the future. In 5’9, average in every way, and missing a tooth - I’m not in love with being in front of the camera.

Great advice from what I’m sure is a very well thought out and not at all baseless assessment from someone I’ve never met. We spent 30 hours making this video to help sell my clients home. Almost no realtor does this and it’s not required, but I do because it helps them sell.
