i binge watch this show and now i think in marks voice
I'm glad I'm not alone 🥳
We're just normal, functioning members of the human race, and there's no way anybody can prove otherwise...
Elena is basically a female Jeremy. She's selfish and vain and inconsiderate. She's exactly the kind of woman Jeremy deserves!
Being a total asshole is a key trait of most characters on this show :)
"Why does everything have to be fun, to be worthwhile?" One of the greatest lines ever!
'the anxious self-hating man's crumpet...but probably best if i never ever say that to her.'
Sophie's words at the end of this clip might be the most decent things she's said. Here's hoping she doesn't ruin it when I click on part three.
"the speedbump, slow down children ahead" classic
Dobby rocks
Thirty years of ignoring fashion finally pays off
I went to Hastings! In Kent!
Got to love Jez
"I get bored very quickly"
haha, the past-os. the oldendaysers.
"i'd actually enjoy working... that's not something that would realistically happen..."
Actually, the discovery of the double helix was probably a LOAD of fun Mark, as Francis was on acid at the time.
I love Mark so much!
I love Dobby so much!
Good ol' Dobby.
"Why does everything have to be fun to be worthwhile? "Crick and Watson have discovered the double helix." "Hmm. Did they do it on a skate board? No? Well fuck off then, I'm not interested."
Dobby is so amazing.
the pastos? the people from the past, the olden dayzers
best show ever :DD
I love Mark and Jeremy's flat!!!
"Dead-eyed men fucking dead-eyed women in a world of pain."
Dobby didn't drink the tea!
the oldendayzerz :-) lol
@seblasian As a woman, I would never take the pill or have an IUD put in, but I don't want kids so I wouldn't have a problem with the morning-after pill or an abortion if the condom failed. If I was a man I would definitely have a long talk with a woman about what if the condom failed before I had sex with her or married her. I don't know if this attitude *is* less appropriate today, but i do think we should be careful we don't punish mothers who legitimately were caught unaware.
Soo... what the heck happened with Elena thinking Jeremy had a baby? It mattered so much in the previous episode but then they never bring it up again? Hrm.
Every season they have a few of these unexplained jumps. I think it indicates a few weeks have gone by? Or it's just crap writing.
Jeremy tells her it's not his baby. They make up and kiss after. Did you miss that part in the previous episode?
lol! because crick & watson were on LSD...
although credit needs to go to a 3rd person for that discovery too...
At 5:50, I'm pretty sure the laptop's turned off. It looks like HP's logo, but it's not shining.
Also, HP sucks. Speaking from experience.
@molegoddess Like you said it's kind of a drastic measure, especially if you compare a teenage girl taking the pill versus a teenage boy having his tubes tied. But it's not so much the practical side of being able to prevent it that bothers me.. back in the day, it made sense that if you knocked someone up, you were responsible. Now that we live in a time where it's really just the woman's choice, I dont see why we still have this attitude.
his surname is osborne?
wtf happened to sophie's hair anyway?
@2112murphy david mitchell reminds me of stephen fry. just his intellect i guess.
A big old placenta befuddled think.
@JadeFawkes3 Yeah I know a few people who sport uk flag jackets and what not here in america... I don't much understand it, but yah know.
Sometimes I cant help but sympathise with deadbeat dads.. am I the only one who thinks there's something seriously wrong about the fact that a woman has the options of getting an IUD, taking a morning after pill, having an abortion, etc.. while the man is just one condom rip away from obliged parenthood?
05:13 dream job
@seblasian There is such a thing called a vasectomy. But most men would rather have women pump themselves full of hormones, tie their tubes, go through an abortion, etc, rather than put themselves through a relatively simple, effective procedure. Though I agree it's not much of an option if he wants children later in life. But there's always celibacy if he's with a woman who's so conniving she would deliberately have his child against his wishes.
hey sophie haters what about it?
