Squeeze out the first half-inch of henna or so. Then knead the cone really well. Separation can occur due to shipping or freezing and will affect both color and texture.

Poke the tip with the pin.. and then squeeze out..
Also make sure your henna cone is nice and tight.. if it's not tight it won't come out.. use tape to make it tight.. first close the tip of the cone with the pin,, then make it tight and secure with tape...
