    This answers so many of my questions about why I struggle with the cheap store bought cones

    I love all your videos and am thoroughly addicted to mehndi now. I’ve been practicing on paper for the past 2 months using cones I ordered from you along with some from the Indian market. I just made my first henna cones from the kit you sent me, and can’t wait to try them out on my husband and friends. ❤️ Thank you Jaya.

    I love this video , and actually I just cut the entire cello roll into 8in segments, I cut trough the cardboard and all so all I have to do is roll my 8 in roll to the 4in mark n cut once instead of having to make two cuts . I find this is super easy. Alsi I use a credit card to squeeze the heanna around the baggie to get it all where I want, even out of the main bag so I don't waste any.

      This really depends on the consistency of your henna however. There are also many diffetent styles. Some hold the hone from the very tip others pretty far. Only way to figure it out is just make henna, I suggest practise sheets of patterns you love most, whatever feels nice to repeat and observe. Spirals, dots, leaves. Long straight lines are very difficult, they will come with time

      When making henna. After you leave it for 12-24 hours. Keep adding a bit of water at a time and mixing it until smooth and silky.

    Such a great video! I've seen it so many times. I can't seem to do it right, though - no matter what I do, the henna from my cones always comes out in spurts and doesn't flow properly. I'm guessing it's air bubbles, but I'm not sure. What do I do? I love henna, any help would be great. Thank you!

    i dont exactly have cellophane so i used a clear plastic sheet protector that i cut up instead, but do you use a specific kind of tape? because when i try to secure mine with enough tape it's really stiff and hard to work with, not comfortable or flexible at all

      @@beautylycious5415 thats interesting for me it wqas $15 but they started having a cheaper USPS option too. However, even if the shipping were that much, for the amount you get per roll you will be able to make tooooooooons of henna cones, they last forever! for a $50 investment should last you months and months

      Sheema Naaz May Be, Your Henna Cone Might Have Air In It, Before You Sealin' It With Tapes...
      Try, Lettin' All The Air Out By Givin' Pressure At The End Of Your Henna Cones In An Outerward Direction...
      Then Tape It, Once You Make Sure Your Henna Cone Doesn't Have Any Air In It...
      Hope, It Would Be Helpful To You...🙂🙂🙂

    Hi Gopi, I'm not sure what I did wrong but my henna wouldn't go down until my cone... it came out the top and didn't go down inside...
    It made an awful mess, I was covered in it and wasted quite a bit of my mix, it did it in every single cone!!! Any idea what I did wrong with it?
    Thanks

    • @irenitele8497
      @irenitele8497 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was probably not thin enough, was too dense so when you pressed/forced it, it only possibility was to escape from the top. You will have to work on your henna consistency. She seems to add water and sugar. Or you can cut the tip a little more until it can flow. Hope this helped!

      they last 5 months in the freezer. If you will be using your cone within a day or two then you can store in the fridge but I would still recommend freezer, cones only take around 5-10 minutes to defrost so just take it out a little bit before you ready to use it
