    A brushless conversion for this would be cool.

    Awesome, saw you're last one and subscribed and saw you up loaded this video, That is so cool, haven't bought it yet been waiting on pulling the trigger, wanted to see if anybody would modify it and then came along you're channel! Semper Fi, safe flying from America's, thank you! :)

    I should have added the video quality you see here is not quite representative of what was actually received in my 5.8Ghz goggles, I think the compression and transfer of the avi files to TH-cam via PC has caused the image stuttering, having said all that I am using older software to process the video. If you are using up to date software I doubt that you will see the same issues.

    Hey Thanks alot for the Video and description. I was thinking about the exact same thing, but with a caddx Ant + runcam TX200u + 180mah 1s lipo. If you where to start from scratch would you go with the eachine e110 or the xk k110? Thanks alot for you Help.

      Hi Serkan, I'd stick with the Eachine E110, The Caddx Ant looks like a good camera, but check the physical size of the TX200, The reason I went for the Eachine TX06 Split was the physical size that meant I did not have to cut away any of the plastic. Have fun.

    Thanks for the vid, learnt a couple of things. Sadly the cameras you posted on Aliexpress also takes me to an empty page. What do I need to watch out for when buying a cam and transmitter to replace the original one?
    Also, mine has an empty connector on the main board, any idea what it's for?

    • @Vosper385
      @Vosper385  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Kyle, Quite possibly the conversion that I videoed here may have caused the products to have been sold out hence the blank page, do not worry though if you can get an image of the Eachine TX06 split camera and search on either Banggood or AliExpress for a similar available model from a different manufacturer.
      What I find is when Eachine release a new product it is often copied and sometimes improved on by other manufacturers, sometimes at a cheaper price.
      As for the spare connector on the board not sure as I do not have this model anymore but you can very carefully check the voltage which might give you a clue, there might even be a symbol or letters denoting its purpose.

    I have a few of those cameras and I was going to ask you if you had to do any modifying with the wires or can you just wire it straight and the voltage is ok that was running the original camera.

    • @Vosper385
      @Vosper385  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used the original connector for the WiFi module and hooked the FPV camera VTX wires in to it, just mind the polarity by noting the wires.

    Cheers! This video helped immensely. Now i'm looking at ways to extend the 2.4ghz onboard Rx for longer distance flight. Mine still is on a boat from china but getting the parts ready for it's arrival. Can you tell me any thoughts about an antenna to extend the internal RX?

    • @Vosper385
      @Vosper385  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi There, As far as I could see the RX on this model is 'built in' to the flight controller so I am not sure I would bother at the end of the day.
      Its' only powered by a 3.7v battery so any signal reception / output from FPV and RX will be limited, I did manage to achieve approx 80-90 metres FPV range but reception had already began to become poor and I struggled to get it back, another thing to consider is when RX signal is lost these little things they tend to fly away and not immediately drop.

    • @sucklord3000
      @sucklord3000 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Vosper385 All fair points! ~90 meters interesting. I'd like to gut the internals and do a custom build with some smart logic like RTH of signal lost. For now, your modification seems much significant for what it's worth and i'll be modding once it arrives. Thanks for the info about the onboard RX. I did get some 8Db antenna for the TX mod.
      Here's the video for modding the transmitter: th-cam.com/video/sJYQVDkJ4fM/w-d-xo.html

      Could use a multiprotocol TX like the Jumper T-lite, but not sure if the range would instantly benefit from it. Might be easier to add a better antenna to though. The camera/ vtx could be a lot better as well, those mini all in ones aren't the best qualitywise.
      The internal battery could be replaced as well, I doubt it is a high quality cell..
      Adding RTH is a bit of a hassle by the way, needing a heavy GPS module on that tiny of a platform throws the weight and interference up.
      A beeper/ drop when out of range would be simpler, lighter and more achieveable...

      Bonjour,
      Il s'agit d'une conversion de 2,4 Ghz à 5,8 Ghz que vous ne verrez pas sur votre smartphone (ne la confondez pas avec 5g)
      5,8 GHz est une fréquence utilisée pour le FPV, vous aurez donc besoin d'un ensemble de lunettes FPV utilisées par les RC'ers.

    • @Vosper385
      @Vosper385  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ChevyCeeLo Hi Sam, There are no video updates as I have passed on the model, It went to someone who wanted my particular model because he did not feel confident of doing the conversion himself. I can tell you the 5.8Ghz video held up well and was consistently reliable, it depended on where you were flying, what obstructions were around, trees, buildings etc but generally I had no issues with it, especially considering the whole thing is powered by a small 3.7v Lipo battery.

      @@ChevyCeeLo Hi Sam, Essentially there is no real difference other than using alternative equipment to achieve the same aims, from the video I would guess the FPV range is roughly the same as is the quality.
