Ah, Canterbury- always loved that inner-city vibe. That local kebab shop next to the servo was a gem, always packed late at night! Cheers for showing around my old stomping ground, really brought back some memories. Top vid, mate!

@@javed_mate glad you liked the vid Javed ~ did you check out my other Canterbury video?
Kebab shops should be compulsory for every neighbourhood 🙂
Canterbury will be in for big changes soon I’m sure , with the new metro line to Bankstown being done it’s going to cut travel time to the city and elsewhere by a lot - plenty more development heading for the area I’m sure.
      Cheers mate.

@@billyeyeball7725 100%, mate! The Bankstown line upgrade’s gonna be a real game-changer-connecting all the way to Tallawong will make getting around heaps more convenient. By the time I’m back in Syd, hopefully, the metro line will be running in full swing. Can’t wait to see how Canterbury shapes up with all the new developments. And yep, I checked out pt. 2 was cracking! Loved the way you covered it. That kebab shop was my go-to-fair dinkum, they knew how to serve up a proper feed! . Cheers!

Hello Billy, Yes new apartments on one side, old shops and houses on the other and a constant flow of traffic. You can always tell Old Canterbury Road. I've done the exact same walk your doing here only 25 years ago.
    Cheers till next one.

@@craigbrown9029 yep that sums it up - it’s a super busy road that’s for sure.
Some pretty interesting older buildings around Canterbury like the church and cemetery in part 1 of this walk .
It’s one of those suburbs that will be interesting to see how it changes over the next decade.
      Cheers Craig
      🙂

@@billyeyeball7725 That is a beautiful cemetery, I walked through it myself. Hasn't changed, they still keep to its beautiful upkeep.
      Cheers.
