North Strathfield is a neighbourhood/ suburb in Sydney’s inner west even though some would consider it western Sydney. Strathfield is located 15 kilometres from the Sydney CBD in the local government area of the city of Canada Bay. Strathfield and South Strathfield are seperate suburbs located to the south. The western part of the suburb was originally part of Homebush while the eastern part was part of Concord. The area got its name from the train station North Strathfield built in 1918 although it was in the western part of Concord there was already a station further north called Concord West so the station got its name from neighbouring Strathfield to the south. Strathfield gets its name from ‘ Strathfield Saye’ after the estate of the Duke of Wellington in England.
@ I’ve not been there either. Creating videos is a great way to discover new places. I find, that I go places, that I wouldn’t normally take the time to 😄
@@wont.stop.travel yep , absolutely mate - I’ve been walking around places I have absolutely no need to go to and have found some of the coolest places - sometimes I don’t bother filming - mind you I’ve also been to spots that are total s##t , but the best thing is just checking out any place - rich , poor , whatever … so much to see .
