- Hey everyone and welcome back to Zeepkist! Today I built an invisible track but I left instructions on how to finish it so people should be able to figure it out...

scale up a single no-clip block and place it 1 pixel above the real track, that should maybe hide the "shadow trick"?

Idea: next time make the track and validate it withOUT the intangible pieces; then add the intangible pieces and edit the validation time to match the validation where you could see.
Crowdsourcing can figure out the rest.

If you want to fight Crowd Sourcing your hidden tracks, just add dead ends branching off of the main track.
They will still find it eventually, but it will make it that much harder
I like this. He could actually turn it into almost a maze. Or a track with multiple routes but only one that is clearly the fastest.

The dichotomy of Face
Idea:. Same idea but longer AND multiple routes but only one of them is clearly the fastest. This would fight against crowd sourcing a bit and encourage people to try different things instead of everyone following each other.
No, just make a track called "Crowd Sourcing" and it should be fully invisible and long. Then play with huge lobby
Haha yeah, just place pieces randomly and don't even bother memorizing it, edit the file to fake-validate, and see how long it takes people to start getting times
To avoid crowd sourcing, Yannic should add an option similar to "no photomode until you finish" where you can't see other players until you finish.

Next time you do this, make multiple paths. So if people try to crowd source it they don't know if they're following the correct path. This will force people to get smart and remember their turns or even potentially find some tricky stuff like a path that seems wrong but has a part that acts as a ramp so you can skip part of real track.

considering this isnt the first "invisible tack" you and your friends have made, and the fact that it gets crowd sourced within 2 minutes every time how could you forget that its a thing?

You could could simulate a low fog by hiding the road under a gray intangible block, have tons of upsized rng just blocking vision, force first person and only have a horizontal sliver of sight visible between two giant intangible blocks, have tons of intangible blocks laid out every few meters in a grid maze so that it's impossible to crowd source, roads that are rather narrow with high unridable wall barriers such as in a canyon or ice cave (good idea to add a cheese on that kind of map too), etc.
You could even start the tracks by placing an invisible road section with barriers on the sides above the actual track that allows you to see the layout of what's coming if you look down. Be it by shadows, the invisible track being the exact same path but reversed, forcing first person view for the maze after viewing the track in third person, or other.
Having lots of checkpoints to make sure they don't cheese it and so they can get some splits would be nice too.
So what do you think? Good idea?

to stop people from wall riding past the pain part of my first track that i'm working on i put a camoflaged cylindrical piece into the wall just barely poking out, bumping you off the wall and down into the abyss, i even made it seem like wall riding is the intended way to do it.

@@GummieI yea I'm relatively new here. I've been binging the railroads online videos and just started watching other stuff. I guess I misread the tone. To me, it seemed like he was being kind of a jerk but trying to mask it like friendly banter. You're right, though, I don't really know their dynamic.
