Markets look like 2015-16. Probably going back to all time highs, but will probably go sideways until fed signals rate cut, Recently sold 25% of my portfolio comprising of plummeting stocks that were recommended by certain financial TH-camrs, quite devastating!

Not their fault, the stock market seems to be more of a casino for gamblers now than a place for investors. even if you were averaging down on ailing companies, its your duty to properly research, buying the dip does not guarantee a rebound

Such uncertainty is the reason I don't base my conviction on rumors or a ''hearsay'' I have my day-to-day investing decisions being guided by an invt-advisor, seeing that their skillset is built around long and short term, both employing profit-oriented strategies and providing hedge against inevitable downtrends, coupled with exclusive analysis, it's near-impossible to not outperform. I've realized over $600k from $235k capital, since late 2019 just before the pandemic to date.

Certain equities normally rise around this time of year, but that is unlikely given the present recession and economic environment. I have a lot of stocks with the hopes of making money this month, but I'm not sure if I should retain them or sell them. I've been losing money since Q2 2022, and the outlook for investors in 2024 does not look promising.

If you expect a larger market downturn, I recommend evaluating the firms in your portfolio and their future prospects. Seeking expert advice from an investing consultant may assist you in reorganizing your portfolio and balancing out underperforming assets. This strategy has relieved my stress and anxiety while also saving me time.

I think it's great to use a portfolio advisor when investing. Before I met with a certified portfolio advisor during the pandemic crash in March 2020, I had recently started having terrible dreams. Finally, with the help of my advisor, I was able to increase my initial investment of $400k to over $2.8 million dollars.

i am sorry...you will have to enlighten me. By open mind, do you mean, an open mind to using moving averages? this is real ground breaking stuff. look at 6:25 for example. He completely skips from a cross over in 2002 to 2009, "after the financial crisis". Why are we looking at things that help his bull case, but not the things that really happened? If anything, he only makes a case for prices on the charts he chooses to go up and to the right. He in fact went to cash in October 2022...I can't find the video because he probably deleted it.

It's been dumping and pumping in this range for ages! It's technically just going sideways, sideways means generally stagnant. More emphasis should be put into day trading, as it less affected by the unpredictable nature of the market. Trading has been going smooth for me as I managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 732k in the space of a few months... The utilities (XLK) sector is normally seen as a defensive sector but with AI there are huge demands for energy in data centres so apparently that might be why it is increasing along with tech but at a higher rate currently.

Dividing 1-3mo t-bills by xlk does not tell you there is a lower fear of inflation if that goes down. If the fear of inflation is up then rates go up and those bond values go down so the line will keep going down in the ratio chart when fear of inflation goes up.

2007-2009 was completely different than what we are currently looking at. There was legitimate fear of societal collapse during the GFC. There were months where it seemed like everything just got worse with no end in sight. Yes, we have inflation in 2024. Comparing 2024 to 2008 though is not a valid comparison.
