They may succeed and prove they've grown. They may fail yet again and prove they are enslaved to their more base tendencies and spiral downward.
Either way, a bad formula for a couple, but a great source of dramatic tension.

This is the only tv series is having success as a martial arts based show. It's been a long time since a martial arts show had so much success, I really hope it keeps going at least for two more seasons.

Extremely unpopular opinion, but I really love their relationship. How Robby found solace in a man that wasn't his father, because deep down, you can tell he truly wanted to have that father figure.

He definitely needs to make amends with Dimitri, though he should have whooped Dimitri for what he told people about Eli. The other young woman is missing. She needs a big story and hope she gets one.

You can tell how much William Zabka loves the show(as of course the others day), but mainly because it is so much redemption for him after playing one jerk after another in the 80's - Karate Kid, Back To School, Just One of the guys, etc. Us 80's kids remember him for those roles. Now he's able to fully round out and redeem one of those characters.

honestly, i watch netflix maybe once a month, i look around to find what will fit my mood at that moment. a few weeks ago i came across cobra kai and straight away i was pulled into the "movie" a really really long movie that i watched with a few breaks in a little over 15 hours straight. i watched both season 1 and 2 back to back and it was amazing! i cant wait for the next season guys!

Nope. He needs to let miguel go and focus on his relationship with his son. Robby may have done wrong but it was an accident. Robby is a good kid who's just had so much shit happen to him. Johnny cant abandon him a second time or else his sob story at the diner means nothing.

@@thekiddler26 Nope. He's his student. No matter how much he cares for his student, Robby IS his flesh and blood. Miguel was always a stand in to his REAL son. If he abandons his son a second time, that makes Johnny scum and it negates all the character growth his character went through. Even Zabka thinks Johnny should focus on rebuilding his relationship with Robby. Miguel needs to stop all this Cobra Kai business because it turned him into a real asshole. I went in to the series really liking him but at the end of S1 really hating him. So Miguel could die and i wouldn't give a rats ass if he did.
Or screw Johnny. Daniel was a better father to Robby in the short months he was with them.
@@rumblefish9 Miguel did end season 1 as kind of an asshole, but he most definitely came back from that in season 2. He calmed down and took the lessons Johnny was teaching him and actually applied them.
In reality, it was Miguel's lack of asshole tendencies that could get him killed.
And Johnny was a bad father up until this point, thats why he started being a surrogate father to Miguel. Johnnys ex told him that there was no rekindling the relationship he could have with Robby, and basically told him to give up. At this point he didn't see Robby as an option anymore.
Plus he's trying to be a better dad to Robby. He'll likely get Robby off the streets in this upcoming season and will probably play a big part in his redemption.
Plus of not season 3, than by season 4 Robby and Miguel are becoming best friends.
