I watched this drama full episodes on youtube in 2018. And just comeback to see by searching, which directing to this channel.
The movie is highly recommended. What I got is history of typical situation in China when invaded by Japan in 1930s.
Whereas the drama is also good in setting, the acting, and the plot. As foreigner, we can also practicing mandarin with the english subtitle.

Don’t care so much for Wallace. He’s kinda cold faced in all his dramas. But just as in Love Me If You Dare, his co-star actress is dynamite, beautiful and talented. Her eyes alone speak volumes, just like Ma Sichan.

You would think it was real footage. Or was it? To think that Japan worked with the Germans before Ww2. They depleted the Chinese of minerals and other things,from what I learned.

So cool to see the two Leads; Yang Zi and Wallace Huo, at such a young age. She was 22 and he was 35...or around that anyway. She is barely recognizable but still a little cutie and what can I say about Wallace Huo? He has always been smokin hot. lol I still love "Love Me If You Dare" as one of my faves. It was intense and chilling and well.... one has to see it to get what I'm trying to explain. Like a Criminal Minds, Silence Of The Lambs mixture. smh Gripping!!

@@cookiescream548 por supuesto que es su rostro pero con modificaciones....tan solo el contorno del rostro y mejillas cambiaron...ya es menos refondo y ahora resaltan pómulos al tener menos mejilla...el color ahora es más claro, y pueden suponerse tratamientos de blanqueamiento muy comunes entre la gente asiática y/o maquillaje....sus ojos, nariz y boca siguen igual...

En los productos asiáticos para aclarar la piel no te hacen más blanca...sino que para igualar el tono de la piel atacando manchas. YZ tiene la cara más redonda porque ya no tiene 17 años. Sus facciones son de una mujer de 30 años...pómulos más altos, menos baby fat. Se ve más blanca por el tipo de drama y menos sol. Por esta misma razón, los asiáticos se ven más oscuros cuando durante años escolares.
