沒看過男女主的劇，但是這一齣戲劇情很順，雖然許多小細節經不起推敲，但是看了還滿有爽感的。尤其是女主在太學所講的"為天地立心，為生民立命，為往聖繼絕學，為萬世開太平"，那番氣度與神情，真的把後期劇情出現的公主給壓到泥裡了。
