Thank you very much for your videos about cycling on folding bike in Japan and also transporting it on train! It is very interesting for me as I'm planning a trip to Japan in May or June and I would like to use a folding bicycle for having more freedom and enjoying places off the main turist paths. I've heared that the brompton clones are pretty popular in Singapore and the 20'' clone Rolling JPN in your video looks really great! I'would be interested in purchasing such a folding bike in Japan or maybe rent it for my trip. Please keep on your work and keep us updated. Best Regards from Germany Peter
Thank you for message! Yes, Trifold folding bike is good to bring your travel to the countries , such as Japan, where the train networks are advanced. We will provide 3 Brompton clone model, 14inch, 16inch(original) and 20inch, and logistics & storage service for it in Japan after this April. I will notice you the details in this month. Please check our site below , too. www.rollingjapan.com
Thank you for your comment! I’ll check it but a delivery fee will be expensive. It is good for you if you travel Japan, and bring it back as your hand language. I think the fee for free as its box size is within their regulation of the check in luggage.
Try ecovolt its a french one with 20 inch wheels, the mid range one is called ‘afternoon’ and I am checking it out soon a the nearest bike shop..also the 2024 model has a carbon belt instead of a chain
6:27 Is there a good website which lists cycling trails in Japan? I am visiting Japan with my Brompton for 17 days starting this Sunday. I will ride しまなみ海道 on March 21st, but am looking for more recommendations.
Please check, www.rollingjapan.com I recommend to check, Chugoku region, Shikoku region, Kinki region and Kyushu region, on the site above. th-cam.com/video/LPsxlWc1b8o/w-d-xo.htmlsi=TUXZh5JX65bpIZVE
Thank you for your video of the 20 inch bike. In your other video you said the bike was aluminum. Was this a mistake? The bike is chromoly with aluminum parts? Is this bike custom made for you or is it available from a factory or dealer? I would also prefer an aluminum Tri Fold bike with 20 inch wheels.
I have both chromoly frame and aluminum frame, 20inch trifold folding bikes. The aluminum frame is lighter than chromoly frame, so no need to pay much money to the titanium one. I think you can order via online, as it regular model.
I have lived in and live now in Japan since 1969, and have toured extensively throughout the country, including with my Bike Friday 20" New World Tourist. I am looking for a more easily foldable touring bike, with 20" wheels. I am also looking for a folding travel bicycle for my partner. This looks like it might be just what I am looking for. When will the bicycle come out, and how would it be possible to see the bicycle in person before purchasing it? May I ask where the bicycle sakes is located in Japan? Also, how would a customer go about ordering this bicycle? I'm very curious about what will come out. Thank you!
Thank you for your comment! I am very happy to hear of your interest. This 20-inch trifold folding bicycle is suitable for touring and can be folded up small size, and can be sent by courier to your hotel in Japan, or sent back from your hotel to your home. It can also be easily checked in as baggage for international flights. It is very convenient for travel and I believe this is the best bicycle as your travel partner. I can deliver it to your home in Japan by courier, but you will not be able to see the actual product in advance in Japan. I can take a video of it for you to check it out. If you still want to see it, I will send you more information.
Excited to see further updates about your tour.
Thank you for your comment!
I’ll update the episode one by one.😊
Looking forward for updates! I too love to ride folding bike in Japan.
Glad to see another person that share the same interest.
