Hello Brian, I have subscribed to your channel for a while now as I am also into Lumix M43. Pleased to subscribe to your Sister's channel for a while to help out. All the best, Mike.
Thanks! Will check out her channel. Can you please tell me what settings you use to record with the g100? I tried on intelligent auto but it was over exposed. I'm trying to record instructional guitar videos. Thanks again. I really enjoy your videos.
@@gavinjackguitar3482 I normally use the iA+ as it seems to keep focus best. I do find the exposure to be difficult so I use the exposure compensation a lot. If I set the video to use A mode then I set my exposure metering to cover the full area rather than spot. I do find that it all works better if you have good even lighting though, it makes the cameras job much easier.
@@ThatMicro43Guy Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. That is very helpful. And thanks for recommending Generation Exeptional! The very first video that I watched about the spotlight effect has already helped me a lot and given me some motivation. Sbscribed to both your channels now :)

Goodness me you made a whole video!!! I don’t know what to say. Thank you. I’m not going to appeal to everyone and my content is very different to yours but if you do like it it would be lovely to see you there. ❤
You and your sis are motivated communicators! I'll be checking out her videos this weekend -- especially the ADHD ones.... *SQUIRREL*!!!!! Oh, where was I? Yes, it can be a bit disheartening to have things to share, a place to share those things (like TH-cam), but not seem to be noticed by all that many folks.... (story of my photography website!!!) -- Cheers! And don't forget that if your shelf collapses and your coffee ends up on the floor -- I'm sure that a fresh, hot, steaming cup of tea will make up for it!!! 😁
@@ThatMicro43Guy -- Ultimately I think that most modern humans in developed countries do have it -- partially from the frenetic environment in which we live. The hunter-gatherer population in the British isles 5000 years ago didn't have to worry about taxes, social media, charging their cell phones, the crop-sensor vs. full-frame debate, national politics -- not that life was easy back then, but I think that it was a little less complicated and overwhelming!
Sure! She has some videos about topics that I am pretty bad at... Marketing, particularly. I heard that lots of photographers aren't good marketers, that's true for me! 😁📸 I'll definitely check out her channel!
You're right -- she is better looking than you are! And she's done a nice TH-cam channel, to which I have subscribed. I'm not a Gen X'er (an old guy, not too good-looking, either), but I'm sure there's wisdom there I can benefit from. Her videos are a bit smoother than yours, but I like your unscripted style, too -- fits my own personality, which is somewhat haphazard. Different ships, different long splices, as they say in the Navy, or at least they did when folks knew what a long splice is. Anyway, I'll check out your sister's vids and see what I can glean from them. Thanks to both of you.
I just watched one of your beautiful little sister Bev’s video’s and her genuinely warm, lovely, friendly energy immediately won her my subscribe and like! I look forward to watching more of her videos and as a fellow Gen X’er I’ve got her back here in 🇺🇸 💪. You’re a good bloke and your parents clearly did a wonderful job raising you both! Cheers mate! 👍
Subbed to her channel and liked a slew of her videos and left a comment. Not sure it Rumble is over there but maybe have her take a look at that platform. I've been thinking about moving over there. There is a fairly big Gen X demo there, too. And unlike YT, their channels grow more organically. YT and the other big social platforms have really choked out smaller channels with updated algorithms, wherein they now serve paid and sponsored videos to users over option unpaid, normal videos and content...even if that content is more accurate to a search. Think about it like Amazon search results. Annoying sponsored garbage, and takes forever to now find what you're really lookong for.
Subscribed, mainly to give her a hand - upwards! Born before 1950, so a lot of her content is no longer of interest to me, however….you never know! And I might come across someone who needs to know😊
