I started rewatching the last videos of this build because I enjoy it so much, then a few minutes after I watched the last video you upload a new one. Put a big dumb smile on my face.
I’ve been watching you work for 2-3 years and I think the work you did on the new front end is the best you’ve done. It showed both artistry and logic. Congratulations and thank you,
You should absolutely call this thing black widow!!! The engine cage resembles a spider. I see a blacked out frame, with a red hourglass on top center!!! 🖤❤️🖤

Know the half moons that you have over the engine you also need to add a few to the center of the cab above your head to tie the front to the back. Awesome change!
A surge tank for the radiator would solve a lot of your air pocket problems especially, if you mount the tank higher than the engine . Also some gussets for your beautiful frame will make your rock buggy even stronger .. Great work . Love the progress you are making...
I liked the original shock towers from the windshield to the shocks, but I could see the very front had to be reworked so the radiator could lay down. The new design looks good too tho, and the new center supports look 100% better. Can’t wait to see it crawling. Great work!
It seems that I've seen it many times before when a youtuber becomes successful they often begin putting on weght, and you seem to be becoming one of them. Please don't let it get out of hand. I love your channel and I hope to see you continue in that direction.
It looks better! What about leave that x brace between the shocks in then don’t have anything over the motor? Then make a sweet low profile intake/air box out of aluminium like and ram air scoop👍
I love that trick you did clamping the piece of bar on the side of the work piece so you could easily set the angle in the bender. I know that it could be done with a digital angle finder but this "analogue" solution does not require the chassis to be level to work, it just works. keep up the awesome work
I agree with you that the front end does look much better. I feel that clutch guard is adequate, much better than whats on a snowmobile. Yes clutches and belts do fly apart at times but you will be fine with the guard. Good job Chris.
OOOOKAY! That looks sick! 👏🏿👏🏿💯 looking back when you first started is a testiment for me and any one..showing dedication to what you love will reward you abundantly! Im on my own journey aswell. That mindset to stick with it no matter how hard it gets is very important cz all the work will pay off.
It's looking amazing Chris! Your channel is definitely one of my favourites which is why I've decided to let the ads run. I don't know how much it helps but I figured it just might. Keep up the great work!
Huntsman spider, good to keep around. They rarely hit humans, their bite might make you feel sick for a day or two, it might not effect you at all depending on health. Their perferred food is black widow and brown recluse, they eat the spiders you need to be concerned about! Probably posting up for the weather and moving along on its own in search of greener pastures.
Man that new front frame design looks SOOOOO much better. That front end was just so bulky and ugly before with so much wasted space. This looks a ton better...also that cvt cover is pretty cool!
Chris , That's funny , I was just thinking on how the body of your build looked like a spider from the side. Like a big tarantula . This is a great build . You have a great sense of style and function .
I think that to make the front part of the build look less “fat” you should somehow fill in the v shape that is created between it and where a windshield would be. It may make the whole design flow better. Great job so far!
That looked to be a wolf spider...its great to have around and couldn't care or less about you, they aren't aggressive and are great for keeping other bugs under control.
instead of an aluminum airbox you could just try routing aluminum tubing to a k&n style filter. I think that would look cleaner and simpler and less welding!

Move the winch and tilt the radiator back to blow the hot air under the engine and it will help push the exhaust temps out as well. You'll get more vision too.
I would have suggested this also but the winch up front isnt taking to much room...A lot of crawler in this similar shape have gone rear fan assisted rad for 2 good reasons,.. 1 no blocking the forward view. 2 extra cooling (the distance to and from the motor for tubing would help a bit) plus you could always add an extra rad/fan side by side...all the while still have plenty of room for the fuel tank
@@TheWakeupsheeple True he could have done that and not have the issue of hot air pocket that I think he's going to get with his new configuration...though I think his forward visibility issue was worse than we thought (like next to none) and 6 to 8 inches would not really help much at all (I'm speculating on this) maybe a combo of raising the winch and moving it more forward and lowering the rad with a shallow tilt back could have minimized the whole issue...Time will tell

Much better look! I never liked that old front end but didn't say anything! Glad you chose to correct it!!!!!!
This looks like something straight out of a sci fi movie. Insane.
35 inch tires on 16 inch rims would set that thing off as a real half scale rock buggy .... killer build !!!
Too much tire for such a small engine ...
loove the rework, it really makes the whole rock crawler look just that much more intense
I'd call it an exoskeleton. It is absolutely elegant. Fabulous design. Great one Chris.
Excellent jams playing. You always play amazing music along with your channel. Appreciate it... makes watching very enjoyable..
