Guys, I had an amazing time making this video for you about some wild and crazy animal moments from my home country, Australia! It brought back some amazing memories of my childhood when I was lucky enough to raise pet kangaroos (yes, seriously!), and it's been fun teaching you about some of the cute and not-so-cute animals from my home country.... like crocodiles,. cassowaries, snakes, spiders, and of the worst of all, the ferocious drop bear! This video has it all! Check it out and if you have any questions about Australian animals or life in Australia, leave me a comment below. I'd love to hear from you!

The Roo was not thanking the guy for getting it out of the water .It was trying to get a grip on him so it could kick him in the guts.

You might be right! That thought crossed my mind 😂 As someone who’s been kicked by a kangaroo on a few occasions, it ain’t fun!

I would add to your comments about the echidna (spiny ant-eater) that they are a very unusual egg-laying mammal or monotreme. That places them with the platypus as the only egg-laying mammals on earth.

Hi Mikey! I didn't know that! Thanks so much for the info; that's really cool to know! I'm definitely not claiming to be an expert on Australian wildlife so I could only share a few of the facts I knew, but this is really interesting! Thanks!

Crocs grow a lot more than a few metres.

You are right. It was a slip of the tongue and I realised it after I said it. I believe they can grow up to around 7 metres or something which is insane 😱

How does an Aussie not know what a Funnel-Web Spider is?!

I’m from Western Australia and we don’t have them over there.

@@AbroadWithBen Thanks for that info, I had thought that they were ubiquitous in Oz, having heard so many jokers making reference to Funnel-webs in the dunny! Today I know more than I did yesterday, so thanks again!
