  • That is nature. Either everything goes well or it doesn't. Such large nests cannot be well protected against heavy rain. fingers are crossed that it will went well.

I never do like it when it rains so much like this and I do worry when there are babies that have hatched in the nest. I do pray that this baby Eaglet CE11 is safe and doing better since it’s being on its back. I really hope it didn’t get too much rain in its very young lungs and didn’t get seriously sick too.🙏🙏❤️🐥. God bless to this family and keep the faith always Eagle family too. I’ve learned that Eagles always knows best and to trust the Eagles too. Hugs and love to all and this Eagle family too. 🙏🥰❤️🌟🕊️🐥🐥🦅🦅❌⭕️

That's not good, many hatchlings "drowned" from rain as they're too fragile

Poor little skinny thing. It rarely gets a good feeding. I don't know why the parents do this thing where they go to give them the food and then take it back and eat it themselves. It's not always too big of pieces. Sometimes it is. I watched a few feedings where it only got 2 bites during the whole thing. I hope the little one makes it.

This is nature..raw and real. The little one is the underdog!!!! Remember E22!!!!!

@@barbarafiskewold9619 I sure do. A couple years ago there was one on the Bluff City nest that had a really mean sibling, food was scarce, single parent. I think it went close to a week with no food and it made it. Once the mean one fledged, the other never let it back on the nest. It was pretty funny.

@@barbarafiskewold9619 Some eagle parents are easy to watch feed. These two are tough, they constantly pull back on almost every attempt and eat a lot of them themselves. They build up my core muscles because I try to guide the food into the babies mouths from my computer chair...lol

To the reply that you gave me... I've watched ce11 eat plenty... Being the younger one obviously the smaller one as in all of nature.. they have to try harder and that makes them stronger!!!! Welcome to the real world!!!!! Maybe you should check out starving children that we, as "HUMANS" let die!!

One more reply as you're eating your Dunkin donuts and drinking your Starbucks..... Spend a week camping in nature. . appreciate it.. respect it.
Alll of God's creatures's go through the same thing. And ( get your tissue out) those babies come but to a point.. then self-preservation takes

The small one is much smaller than the big one. Hopefully he makes it, but he doesn't eat as.much as his bigger sibling.

It's the survival of the fitness. It's sad. Unless someone goes up there and removed the weakest link, it will die.

These are wild nests. There is no intervention with them unless they fall off the nest. Welcome to mother nature. This happens over all natural nest nests. If you can't handle it then don't watch.

pumpupjam9648 , there is no reason to disturb nest life. Eagles are used to such weather conditions. I saw much worse and the babies survived. They are strong, incredibly strong!
