'Those (schedules) are brutal' - Chris Gabehart reveals how much sim work goes into NASCAR race day

When the NASCAR Cup Series garage closes on a Saturday, the work is far from done for a race team. There might still be 5 to 8 hours of sim work still to do as teams finalize their plans and prepare for Sunday race day. Chris Gabehart, the crew chief for Denny Hamlin and the No. 11 team at Joe Gibbs, explains how the schedule works for races close to home (such as Darlington) and far out on the road.
