Keep Ronnie Bell away from football. He's worse than Dante Pettis and he can try an get his hands on an elite DB because this secondary booty. They're overrated over hyped an that Superbowl loss was on them more than anyone else. If they beat New England by anything less than 7 points something has to happen involving Kyle or a coach this roster has the best talent top to bottom in football the secondary and special teams they are awful. Most playoff wins in NFL history so atleast we know they won't be bad too long.
Kyle's problem is he's too conservative. they never throw deep passes. and i'm not talking about 20-30 yards. i'm talking about 40-50 yards. teams don't defend deep. he's obsessed with 5 yard slants and YAC. it's like he coaches scared. or he just doesn't trust anybody on the offense. he's also a control freak. QB's aren't allowed to change the play at the line, or throw to a WR who isn't the first target.
When Jimmy.G arrived he wasn't expected to be used but 5 emergency starts prior to learning the the full playbook resulted in 5 straight wins. Then he came under Kyle's scheme and became a bum.Mnnesotas surprise QB didn't do much under Shanahan briefly.
Grant is right. Kyle does the opposite of what people tell him he should do. i remember last year Grant asked him why Mason doesn't get more carries. Mason didn't get a single carry the next game. EVERYBODY wanted him to draft an OT this year. he drafts a 4th string WR. run the ball in the 4th quarter of a super bowl with a 10 point lead? he throws over and over. it's all so frustrating... Andy Reid needed a WR and he drafted the fastest WR in NFL history.
Kyle Shanahan is trying to imitate his Daddy but he will never be able to accomplish that level of coaching because his EGO is in the way. He is trying to control his players like they are robots.
Ive always liked Kyle because he's been better than many of the previous coaches. Harbaugh was cool with the team but him and the administration hated each other for some reason...so we never got to fully see how far Jim could have brought the franchise. He did bring it to an SB. Although I have respected Kyle...he NEVER seems to put anything on himself. He literally is blundering and not making the correct roster choices. He's only half good at drafting because he really doesnt pay attention to all aspects of the draft...he doesn't care about Oline or special teams as much as getting a ton of rbs and wind receivers whom all seem to end up hurt too quickly. Kyle needs to understand that his coaching needs to get alot better in the later half of the game.. especially. The Rams coach made Kyle look like a rookie coach for real. Brock Purdy was the real leader and Juan was his VP. Obviously Kyle's gotten the team far but like I said he needs to look hard at himself because he does blunder big time during the biggest most important moments .. and also he needs more help with drafting. Let Kyle draft running backs and wide receivers...let someone else draft the Oline and defensive players.
