These trucks from WPL are really good as there are loads of upgrades.
Some really fine builds on here🙌🏼 mines is almost complete after metal everything built in and structure made into one piece.

After seeing yours run, I noticed I had the same 2wd issue on mine due to drive shaft slippage. Took it apart and locked it up with super glue. Problem fixed. Thanks for the nice video.

I have ordered a Quickrun 1060 wich should do the job in my wpl with the 370 motor. I am not quite sure how to hide this rather big esc but i am sure it is manageable!

Im having an issues with the motor not turning sometimes it will go back and forth then ill stop working and the steering continue to work. The red LED lights up when you hit the throttle back and froths.
What type of esc are you using? Thanks

I believe you'll need to swap the electronics with one of the new WPL boards, which could have the benefit of engine sounds too if you choose the right one. Or change to hobby grade electronics

How’s the drag brake working with that esc? I can’t get mine to slow my truck down even on some pretty small downhills.
I haven’t driven the truck for quite a while, but I remember the brakes working in forward/brake/reverse mode but there not being any noticeable drag brake in forward/reverse mode. When I get to the electronics on the C44KM I’m going to be a bit more scientific about the testing

Paul Blanchard nope, I ordered my axles before I ordered my kits. This way I'll have them ready to go when I strip/break the plastics.
I placed a 10A ESC with 6CH receiver and a 370 motor on my C24. It runs but doesn't have reverse. Also using a 6CH radio. Can you help? Thanks in advance.
Does your esc have reverse? And I'm guessing you've checked your transmitter. Haven't seen to many 6 Channels without reverse but I mean throttle trim or any other settings it has

I take it that's a fwd/rev esc with brake?
There's no brake, just forward/freewheel/reverse.
Given the size and weight of the truck it works rather well though, with the weak motor you can give it a little reverse to slow things down without instantly flipping the truck.
Is all you need to get it running is just getting is an esc, reciever, controller, battery, charger.
