well, without arrogance and 5.5k elden hours on the record i thought „let‘s see, what could i learn i didnt already know?“ and voila, the mogh escape variant without loosing runes, vyke spear distance, the „attack at ledges to check fall damage - amazing.
Fun fact: instead of using the Pureblood Knight's medal for teleporting out of a boss fight you can just quit the game and when you re enter you will be outside the fog door with all your runes
Most of these *tricks* you don't know videos always suck but this is actually a very good video that taught me some things even as a player with over 900 hours and all character slots at ng+7
Margit’s Shackle trick literally enabled me to clear the Auriza Hero Grave and destroyed the 2 Chariots- giving me the 82 Poise Tree Sentinel Armour set early!
I knew about most of these, although I hadn’t noticed that Flame, Cleanse Me could wipe off the Frostbite status effect. I knew about the Quit Game trick from Bloodborne, for resetting mob aggro. It can also sometimes be used to get lost loot from enemies that fall off a cliff because it resets their corpse position. I use the Arrow’s Reach talisman with Loretta’s Arrow sorcery to tag the bird in Moghwyn Palace and get him to jump off the side of the blood lake for a safe and easy 13k runes.

I made a video on getting that Holy Ground ash of war at 2:24 and becoming invincible to most magic recently, very handy to have especially against the Dragon Lord Placidusax because it makes you immune to all his non-physical attacks! Love the video mate, keep it up!
For the item that lets you teleport, YOU HAVE TO THE QUEST ! FOR WHITHE MASK !! for players that dont have the item ,it brings you early game !, to the best RUNE FARM !,as well ,mohg palace court jard
Put my Blue flask in my pouch (up button) long ago on someone's advice and it's the best way to do it. Always access both and don't screw up and take the wrong one, either. Also have Torrent in there (left button) and a summons (right button) if I need one and the lantern in the pouch (down button) as well.
Scarlet rot and poison effects can be less hazardous if when it takes effect you're standing on solid ground not in poison and not in scarlet rot, in the lake of rot; get to the stone flooring before the rot takes effect and the damage over time is 20% less than if the rot took affect while standing in it.
I used your Grimm Reaper Build for my first play through. Since that Build, the Grave Scythe is my go to weapon for bullying tanky enemies. Was a lot of fun for me. Thanks
Funny thing with the hands and vulcano pots. I've had a couple instances where I wanted fire but vulcano pots didn't work for me (I believe I was trying to explode kegs/barrels or something).
I feel like the raisins healing torrent might be more relevant in the DLC since i hear theres a few fights focused on mounted combat, currently i only extremely rarely need to heal my horse but not myself, so i usually just burn a flask anyways And i think it's never a bad thing to have more than 220fp, yeah you cant recover more than that with flasks, but flasks arent the only way to restore FP, and needing to fully empty your bar so as not to waste FP when flasking can be rather a nuisance if youre running mixed costs Id say having at least 1 extra cast of your most expensive combat spell over the 220 mark will result in an overall gain in FP efficiency, if youre trying to maximize FP use anyhow
Thanks for the video. Never played a Dark Souls game before, interested in Elden Ring. Will be playing mouse and keyboard on PC, which of your builds would you recommend for a first time player, to get the best results and to learn from to play other types of characters.
The problem with these Souls like games is that many items are very abstract, obscure in what they do and used for - when playing the game you don't want to risk losing all your souls and how far you reached because you have no idea on the items making this very frustrating as they could benefit you on the game.
str 54 is better, because 2 handed you get 80? That way you have 1 point elsewhere to distribute in some situations? Or just go 66 str for 99 str 2handed?
I still don't understand why some of my characters walk and run normally on the lava (as if I was wearing the lava/swamp ring from ds1) while others don't. Is it just bugged or is that an effect of something I'm unaware of?
leveling mind sucks they need to rework it, add more spells too so many useless ones not worth the fp! need a weapon that doubles as a catalyst, the carian sword made it feel like it was gonna be, but no, or a ash of war that lets you cast spells with ant weapon would be cool

Me in jolly cooperation smacking this shit on the ground over and over as host runs by illusionary walls.
It even solves some puzzles in catacombs or hero graves

Mind: Assassin's Cerulean Dagger and Sacrificial Axe also fill your FP pool. If you use them, having more than 40 Mind makes sense.

Pretty sure once your character is in ng+ you aren’t slowed by the environment anymore. Weird little qol for beating the game.
