Thermal is pretty great, I usually don't bother with such high power optics in this one, mainly for ADS speeds and it's damage range only 1 shoting to 100m. That being said make it work however it works best for you! Thermal is super handy on maps with lots of foliage so enemies can't hide!
If people wouldn't play this game like CoD, I would actually enjoy sniping but nah, SMGs can accurately law down 900 bullets a minute over 250m while this thing can barely reach it
🤔 smgs definitely cannot reach out that far and the ntw is balanced to the 100m mark it's not supposed to be a "sniper" it's an anti material rifle after all.
I think the pp is an outlier because it's technically not an SMG, scz is just flavour of the month and new so it's overpowered so to speak, it will be nerfed most likely. But yeah I get you, the reason the balance has been crazy is because 128 players and making the maps super large which means all guns have to kill at further ranges than ever before
Ah, thanks, sorry this might be late but I have been playing BF4 before and seeing SMGs and high RoF ARs/LMGs being used past 100 meters is just a "cultural shock" This makes a lot more sense now, thanks for the explanation

Apparently the PP-29 and SCZ do, because those are the most frequent encounters currently, idk why weapon balance is so weird here compared to BF4/3
