AirOptix green color looked good on me (medium/dark brown eyes), but I couldn’t see well out of them because they don’t make toric lenses. I just ordered Solotica jade lenses. I hope they don’t look fake on me. I looked awful in grey and blue AirOptix lenses. I am too dark to get away with them.
Kinda the same happened to me, I have medium brown eyes with a lot of green In them and a fair completion and the ipanema lenses were a little lighter on me it still looked ok I guess but the big problem I had with these lenses is that weird bug eye effect where it looks like your eyes are looking different directions or just uneven and weird, pretty sure it’s because I have an astigmatism in both eyes so I did have to order the astigmatism lenses, pay way more, and wait 2 months to get them…so it was really disappointing. So if your eyes are like mine really take that into consideration before wasting your money like I did. I’ve watched a lot of reviews and I think I’m going to try the hidrocor aquamarine or the rio buzios the pupil hole in those combined with the more subtle color I think they won’t have that effect.
@@thesnorlax8831 it’s because some of your dark iris shows from the pupil hole, and depending on how the contact is sitting on your eye, it can blend w your pupil and make it look like your eyes are slightly looking two different ways

I have Fonesta. They are the most natural looking lenses ive owned in real life, even more than solotica mels which i have owned. They blend very well with my dark brown eyes and they have a small pupil hole.

Felix Oliveira - I have medium brown eyes so they work great for me but I have seen them in darker eyes and they’re still pretty just not as noticeable
Another great video Fonz!!! My personal favorite green lens right now are Solotica Hidrocor Ambar and Buzios...they look soooo natural and blend so well with my dark brown eyes. It's crazy because before last year's opacity I loved Mel over the Ambars and now it's the complete opposite.
Thank you so much for this up to date review in 2020! I unfortunately am not a fan of blue contacts on myself personally, but I love GREEN! Right now I have the Hydrocor Mel, and they are a classic. I got them because they safely look good on anyone. But I have been wanting something different. I recently purchased Topazio, but it is much more blue than I expected. I believe I will try Epanima next because I am afraid of the brightness of Quartzo. But I have always wanted a color like Quartzo, but have been afraid it will not look right on me, so thank you for presenting Epanima I also watched your comprison between Quartzo and Epanima and it REALLY helped! I was about to get Jade, but then got Fonesta. I own both Fonesta and Buzios now. I am not sure why, but I can’t find myself to get used to Fonesta, they kind of look fake on me. :( Maybe because I was so used to Buzios, or they aren’t all made the same as mine look zombie-like.
MissMagicPiano I actually felt the exact same way when I started using the Fonesta but I feel it’s because Buzios are so subtle and feathered in comparison to Fonesta that are more Solid in color and the pupil hole is not feathered at all. I did get used to them and got a lot of compliments on my eyes while wearing them more than Buzios but again Buzios are so subtle. Buzios still remain my favorite and #1. My Fonestas just aged out and I ordered the Buzios again and am currently using only Buzios

I can't find many reviews about green contacts on naturally light green eyes. I have bought the Anesthesia Gris, Solotica Quartzo and Solotica Esmerlada. I LOVED the light green color of the OLD Solotica Rio Ipanema but they changed it. Boo. The Gris and Quartzo are great color wise but the iris diameter looks funky. The lens look like they are protruding off my eyeball...why is that and how can I find ones that are super light green for light green eyes?

Hy! It it possible to find on the market colored contact lenses that have 13.00 mm or 13.5 mm ( idk if I put the measurements well tho) but all of the have 14, as I searched. The shape of my eyes is very big but the iris is a little small on comparison with them. So a 14 contact lens sometimes looks strange on my eyes.

Do hidrocor mel brighter than last year? 2019mel is too dark and has ugly big pupil hole so i didin't choose that. I wish solotica company make more brighter shades of green lenses like quartzo
My thoughts on each: Mel is a pistachio color and lighter than Ambar which is more of a yellow toned green but both are really pretty. Buzios is the most natural contact I’ve ever tried, even up close it looks amazing and so incredibly real. I really love the color combinations of Jade and Ipanema but wish the pupil hole was blended a little bit better. I haven’t tried Fonesta because I have med to lightish brown eyes and think they would be too bright green on me. I’ve never tried the Aquarellas but I’ve been curious about them so I think I’m gonna check out the colors and probably get a few pairs 😊
Do the Hidrocor Buzios or Hidrocor Avela look more natural? I have Avela which looks generally natural but in some lightings, looks very light and green on my dark eyes.

It really depends on the person. What is bright for me may not be bright for you. It will definitely look lighter than in my eyes! If you’re scared of it being too bright, you could try Hidrocor Buzios 😊
I use clear contact lenses for at least 7 years, I find them really comfortable, do you think I’ll have a hard time getting used to a colored contact lense by solotica?
Solotica 2016 batch was the most natural. Now they make textured almost reptilish looking lenses. I wish they go back to the very natural lenses with extremely tight pupil holes.

As you know they last 3-6 months but my question is, how do you know when a contact is done/finished. How do I get maximum usage out of them. What if I'm only wearing them occasionally? Ive been using Solotica for more than 7 years and they're gorgeous lenses. The only issue I have with them is their opacity's never consistent. I used to love Ochre then they started to look bug eye/fake. So I settled for Avela, then they got darker and at times look bug eye as well. A few months ago I decided to buy the monthly Ambars and it looked so realistic I kept saying WOW. Reordered this twice and the opacity's never the same. They look fake and cheap 😩
Could you please review airoptix and daily freshlooks pure hazel and gray? Airoptix are the only ones that have a high oxygen permeability, that's why I want to stop with the rest
@heringe solotica have a bad oxygen permeability. If I am not wrong its about 6 or 9. If you go for solotica go at least for the daily ones aquarella. But even these dont have the highest dk. And I would certainly not wear any lens for a year even you could
@heringe just to correct solotica have dk/t of 11. Still poor. Anastasia definitely seems to be higher and better . An ophthalmologist could tell you more. Also Lenzotica seems to be very good and they look so damn natural. My sister bought them but I have not seen her in person yet as she's in Germany. They look unbelievably natural. Unfortunately the shipping for me is expensive. These are made of silicone (airoptix as well) which is better material for the eye than all the others who still use polymacon.
Josh Levi for your safety, it is not recommended to go tighter than these, it could cause vision impairment, not letting you see correctly if you cover your pupil

Definitely the ipanemas. If u look a pics of real green eyes a lot have a little blue mixed in and brown. I'd love solotica to do more research on green eyes n how the colors mix together. Loved all but the darker green. And the lines mix awesome on em all just not the color blending

Tania Da Yes, daily lenses are very comfortable since the material is way softer, monthly and yearly are made out of different material and can be hard to adjust. Keep wearing dailies and slowly start using monthly, for an hour, then 2 hours and so forth.
Solótica Aquarella Sea Green on dark eyes : just dont. Believe me. I got them. Yes confortable but arent natural at all... barely change anything in the eye.

Fonzevil that’s a shame, but I do know what you mean I always get bad lenses from Solitica and it hasn’t stopped me from using the brand . You should give them another chance. Something to think about
I want natural looking green contacts that don't look too dark or vibrant and the Anesthetic Fonesta looks amazing! Question, does the round pupil hole give you a bug eye effect? Or do they look normal?
Do hidrocor mel brighter than last year? 2019mel is too dark and has ugly big pupil hole so i didin't choose that. I wish solotica company make more brighter shades of green lenses like quartzo

My thoughts on each: Mel is a pistachio color and lighter than Ambar which is more of a yellow toned green but both are really pretty. Buzios is the most natural contact I’ve ever tried, even up close it looks amazing and so incredibly real. I really love the color combinations of Jade and Ipanema but wish the pupil hole was blended a little bit better. I haven’t tried Fonesta because I have med to lightish brown eyes and think they would be too bright green on me. I’ve never tried the Aquarellas but I’ve been curious about them so I think I’m gonna check out the colors and probably get a few pairs 😊
Do the Hidrocor Buzios or Hidrocor Avela look more natural? I have Avela which looks generally natural but in some lightings, looks very light and green on my dark eyes.

visit your eye doctor and get a prescription! Then you can add power depending on what your prescription says:)

It really depends on the person. What is bright for me may not be bright for you. It will definitely look lighter than in my eyes! If you’re scared of it being too bright, you could try Hidrocor Buzios 😊

I use clear contact lenses for at least 7 years, I find them really comfortable, do you think I’ll have a hard time getting used to a colored contact lense by solotica?
Yep, color contacts let less oxygen in to the eye. You will feel a big diffraction especially if u get solotica.
Solotica 2016 batch was the most natural. Now they make textured almost reptilish looking lenses. I wish they go back to the very natural lenses with extremely tight pupil holes.

Hey Fonz! I just bought some Anesthesia contacts and I would really like to see you do a contact care video. As you know they last 3-6 months but my question is, how do you know when a contact is done/finished. How do I get maximum usage out of them. What if I'm only wearing them occasionally? Etc would love to see a video on that! Or an Instagram story? You got Instagram?
They will feel less hydrated and will bother you throughout the day. Especially if you wear them for 8+ hours a day

Solotica Copacabana? Wanted to buy it as a lighter version of Buzios, which I love. Would you recommend? Your videos are amazing:)
Ive been using Solotica for more than 7 years and they're gorgeous lenses. The only issue I have with them is their opacity's never consistent.
I used to love Ochre then they started to look bug eye/fake. So I settled for Avela, then they got darker and at times look bug eye as well.
A few months ago I decided to buy the monthly Ambars and it looked so realistic I kept saying WOW. Reordered this twice and the opacity's never the same. They look fake and cheap 😩
I searched so much about it in my country ..could not find it
Fonesta and the Ipanema. But also Buzios. I think I’d buy all 3 of those. They all look great. Why choose only one? Lol.

Could you please review airoptix and daily freshlooks pure hazel and gray? Airoptix are the only ones that have a high oxygen permeability, that's why I want to stop with the rest
@heringe solotica have a bad oxygen permeability. If I am not wrong its about 6 or 9. If you go for solotica go at least for the daily ones aquarella. But even these dont have the highest dk. And I would certainly not wear any lens for a year even you could
@heringe just to correct solotica have dk/t of 11. Still poor. Anastasia definitely seems to be higher and better . An ophthalmologist could tell you more. Also Lenzotica seems to be very good and they look so damn natural. My sister bought them but I have not seen her in person yet as she's in Germany. They look unbelievably natural. Unfortunately the shipping for me is expensive. These are made of silicone (airoptix as well) which is better material for the eye than all the others who still use polymacon.

can you find lenses that have a tighter pupil hole or that blend perfectly with darker brown eyes? have you heard of Elite lenses?
Josh Levi for your safety, it is not recommended to go tighter than these, it could cause vision impairment, not letting you see correctly if you cover your pupil

Definitely the ipanemas. If u look a pics of real green eyes a lot have a little blue mixed in and brown. I'd love solotica to do more research on green eyes n how the colors mix together. Loved all but the darker green. And the lines mix awesome on em all just not the color blending
I bought Solotica Safira and absolutely hated them! Addict blue is half the price and way prettier! super natural and look great on olive skin!

Tania Da Yes, daily lenses are very comfortable since the material is way softer, monthly and yearly are made out of different material and can be hard to adjust. Keep wearing dailies and slowly start using monthly, for an hour, then 2 hours and so forth.
Try colorCL! They’re sooo comfortable. They don’t have one exact like Fonesta but a similar ish one is parrot green
Solótica Aquarella Sea Green on dark eyes : just dont. Believe me. I got them. Yes confortable but arent natural at all... barely change anything in the eye.
