Hey hey! you mean from scratch? KAPS assessment took me 2 months to wait, self review roughly 8 months, KAPS Exam results 2-3 weeks, PTE exam review and exam proper 1 month, provisional registration 3 weeks, then internship proper took me 9.5 months to finish , then I got my full license :)

Hello, im not sure if there are any changes with internship hours but in my case, i finished 75% of internship hours - before you can sit oral and written exams.

1. Is pharmacist work experience required po ba prior to becoming a pharmacist in Aus, or ok lang po ba na dumiretso na magtake ng KAPS? (fresh grad po ako and planning to take KAPS soon, im working as a VA din, but mej confused po ako sa work exp na part)

Hey, my company pays per annual rate for me , it kinda depends whether what company you work from. Yes, it will cover all of your expenses as intern pharmacist, once you got your general registration from AHPRA as Pharmacist, your pay will spike so it takes a lot of patience and more prayers! you have to start your internship within 3 years of kaps otherwise you'll have to give KAPS again

Helpful po, i reviewed recalls 2 wks before my exams for kaps, but dont review recalls without stregthenjng your foundations in chemistry, calcu and esp in Clinical pharmacy (situationals). Cguro addtional lang ung recalls..

Hello sir, yes po! then syempre may mga textbooks and reviewers din ako before from Uni and review center from 2017 so summing that up altogether. Marami na rin yun :D that's why I did self-review nalang para mas hawak ko oras ko. Depende po un sa review strategy nyo sir :) Godbless you!

Hello , intern written and oral exams are both summary of all the foundational information and activities you had during your internship and more on applications and situational problem solving. I would say Oral exam is the hardest :)

it's all really up to you, I personally did a self-review and am working as well during that time, I dont wanna risk my KAPS exam fee while I am not yet prepare to take the exams. If you feel like you've reviewed enough then I think you can proceed :)

Yeah surely, so pathway on that would be as Pharmacy Technician under VETASSES I'm quite not sure though if there are employers who can sponsor visa on this work position . Maybe you can check with your migration agent as I am not very familiar with it. Thankyou!

ma’am my problem is my teeth. I’m not comfortable and confident to talk to people because I’m wearing dentures (upper) but I really want to work there in Australia as a pharmacist. Strict po ba sila pag dating sa ngipin mam? I’m worried kasi baka Hindi ako i-fit to work. That’s my biggest insecurities talaga at mistakes sa buhay ko. 😢
Hello, I dont think it really matters. You know they will hire you for your skills and distribution as pharmacist, they will not hire you because of your looks, but then if this is something that affects your confidence, then maybe you can get everything fixed by your dentist para kaht pano you have full confidence 😊❤

Hello Karen, you can rely on the subjections per paper, what i reviewed for before :
- I focused on chemistry, organic chem, inorganic, medicinal chemistry
- dosage forms, Biopharmaceutics and kinetics
- calculations
Etc..

It kinda depends on your preference, but personally I stayed in the place where I did my internship. Godbless you!
Depende yan sa employer 😊 If they will offer you a job after when you get your general registration. Most employers do kasi nga it’s difficult to find pharmacists.

@@clarisseandriatubon7613 google mo Pharmacy Industry Award then choose the link of Fair Work Ombudsman. Nagchachange ang wages here every few years. At saka nasa contract ng work that you cannot disclose your hourly rate kasi confidential yun.

Yes, it's an allowance pay. Enough to pay for all expenses as intern!
Is retail or hospital pharmacy experience required before taking the kaps or having an internship at AUS?
To sit KAPS exam I dont think they will ask you for any experience in any field, please check the APC website to make sure. But personal experience they just required the documents that I have listed in this video . Thank you!
