VGK has some of the slickest passing and play making but Samsonov needs to be the starting goalie. Hill aint cutting it, dude letting in the most basic goals.
Have you seen him play in Washington and Toronto? Maybe he finds his groove in Vegas, but he's consistently inconsistent. Hope he works out for you guys
@@Scoots_McGee Yeah but both those teams heavily rely on their offensive output as compensation. So far with VGK Samsonov has been phenomenal when he has played, it's of course still early but i hope he keeps that level of play :)

Ottawa had so many point blank chances that we're lucky to come away with 2 points. Great day, great atmosphere at T mobile so I'll take the points and move on.

Knights - Hill is a backup /Always a Hertl fan Sens - The sens defense is still bad which is why I was against throwing away a 1st round pick away on a rental goalie. I know the sens dumped a contract they didnt want also but I would want the first round pick more.
@@BloodyInspired7 It is like the sharks gong for Askarov in that the rest of the team defense has to be good enough or the goalie probably will not matter. 8.2 mill to Ullmark without any proof the Sens team is actually good enough to even make the playoffs yet seems crazy risky to me. If the team defense is around the same as last season it seems like a waste of cap. Bostons team defense made goalies look better than they were last season. Good luck to the Sens but I would have rather kept the 1st round pick.

That knights team won the cup with a backup level goalie in Hill. That is the IDEAL situation to be in where the rest of the team is so good it can carry the goalies to victory. The knights defense got worse after the cup win and Hill got exposed more.
