Freakazoid, definately one of the most underrated shows of the 90s, yet one of the funniest superhero shows of all time. Back when cartoons were random and funny in a food way. With writers like Paul Rugg and John P McCann, you know it's gonna be a brilliant series. - ตลก

it's still ahead of it's time. Literally nothing has surpassed it since. The 90's did that. Nothing beats the beginning of the internet that was the 90's. First impressions cannot be beat.
Freakazoid is like a kid friendly version of Deadpool.
Well. That was the problem with the show. There are so many references to movies and shows you will see when you are 18 or older. Even the "Pull the string!" reference from the first episode was one of the many jokes children would not understand.
(Or your parents love horrible movies like Glen or Glenda and you were forced to watch them all day)
I must confess, I was kind of disappointed that Deadpool wasn't as much like Freakazoid as I had been lead to believe.
Best description of Freakazoid yet. He's made me laugh more than Deadpool.
Probably because Freakazoid was always meant to be kid friendly and Deadpool isn't.
You know, I was just thinking that. Except Freakazoid is a legit superhero, and Deadpool is an anti-hero.

This is about the 10th time in my life that as soon as I read a comment about a part, IT SHOW ON MY SCREEN RIGHT AFTER I READ THE COMMENT!
I still have no idea why Marlon Brando is in the sky... And do I care?
As an addendum, I have just learned of Marlon Brando's blimp-sized ego, and the joke is ultimately more hilarious.
And at that stage of his life, he was rather...large.
And why is it always a running joke for freakazoid to nearly crash the plane into various things such as another airplane, a blimp and a giant Marlon brando balloon
two decades later, I get the reference and the joke still manages to be funny without making any gd sense at all, what a masterfully stupid cartoon.
Knowing Brando, I'd say we would be more surprised if he wasn't in the sky.
I like how Freakazoid had a better grasp of the internet in the 90s meanwhile Marvel in 2020 has given us “experimental internet gas”

I see this comment a lot and I think quietly that there was subtle nuance to the blind-side stupid in these cartoons where there's a setup and delivery where the internet really is just delivery, delivery which is way less substantial to me. I'm really old I now realize, shit.

Y'know, "Freakazoid" was originally going to be a serious super hero show before Steven Spielberg decided it should be more comical. We came very close to not having this wonderfully funny and charming cartoon, and that makes me love this show even more.
So Freakazoid was just going to be another Batman or Superman or something? Either way I'm glad that he is how is too
So glad they altered the premise, this style of humor was overdue. And given when this was made, it's now overdue to be made as a serious big movie feature! 😯😁
For an idea of the character the freak or something episode of 90s Batman is pretty close to that hero. The creative team had a bunch of the characters drawn out and the switch to comedy had a new set of people working on it and took those characters and used them for freakaziod that we knows rogues gallery

Deadpool has a healing factor that'll make Wolverine blush and is a master assassin. Honestly, I'd give the edge to Freak.

Freakazoid is one underrated cartoon I can think of that not many people remember or talk about all that much
I'd hate to see this get rebooted. Just because I know itd be shit in today's society with its politically correct propaganda. They would have no creative freedom. This was made in a time where people were happier and things were advancing but yet our daily lives were still simple.Not to mention you just can't get that kind of quality art style these days.
