- At this shop we found plenty of well known and collected titles all priced low in the bargain bins. From the likes of Rod Stewart, Michael Jackson, Led Zeppelin and more.. come and see what we found!

I don't even collect vinyl (I am a huge music fan but only buy hi-res digital these days) but have just discovered your channel and been binging all of your videos. Your grandad is an absolute diamond! Absolutely love the content. Used to collect old video games myself and currently old books, so completely understand the appeal of the thrill of the chase and finding stuff you want "out in the wild".
Love watching you two banter back and forth.
Great little shop and with the prices, they certainly aren't ripping customers off.
Lovely place for a visit.
That Split by the Groundhogs is a steal. Amazing album!
@psantos5573 The whole album is a classic, not just that one obvious track
Ty segall coverd cherry red and then found out it was a cover by the band groundhogs… loved it as well
@@stevenimeson902 Yeah for some reason Groundhogs are one of the very few prog bands considered 'cool'! I love the entire scene from back then though.
great album by the groundhogs
Alice cooper killer with calendar, good album
Guys should have snagged up that Thin Lizzy Black Rose!
The original copies of Killer (which that is) came with a calendar attached through perforations. Complete albums with the calendar still attached are quite rare I think.
Great video. We're getting loads of ideas of places to hit for our next trip to London. Keep up the good work.... We're loving the content. 👍
Let us know where you visit when you come!
Look at Yourself remains my favourite Heep album to this day. Blew me away in '71 as a 17 yer old.
Great stuff gents, as always!
Your Groundhogs album looks first press to me. All copies I've seen were fully laminated. Got that for a great price.
It was so good it honestly looked like a fake to me! Glad to hear everyone thinks I got a good one :)
Crazy Beat is a great shop, been going there a couple of times a year for ages (when I can brave the M25!) . Those bargain bins you went through are also excellent for soul and funk 12" singles. That was owner Gary you were served by, always excellent service here, they have thousands of records on discogs that are not out on the shop floor but are always happy to look up anything for you there and then, thorougly recommend a visit, parking is easy in the nearby car park just behind the petrol station opposite.
Great video as always guys! “Empty sky” from 1969 was Elton’s first album 😊
'A Single Man' (1978) is Elton John's 12th studio album, it features the huge hit. 'Song For Guy'
Rock Me Amadeus. Not sure it's actually on this album. After the Fire were his band.
Morning James. I would say that waiting for an original copy is worthwhile. I found to my cost Specifically with Kate Bush. I bought copies of reissue's when the whole collection was put out and was disappointed by how the sound was different to the original. Only my opinion of course. Bide your time James it will be worth it. All the best, Floss.
Great Shop,, Really Nice Staff... And a Place For Some Great bargains Too...But Don't Tell Anybody...
Shhh... don't let anyone find out!
Groundhogs “Split”, class album
In the US that Beatle Red album would be 20 to 30 dollars . 8 dollars US would be a steal. I think that shop had great prices. Enjoyed the excursion very much. I subbed your channel btw Your grandfather is a wealth of classic rock knowledge.
Fairport was a 2nd pressing btw. The first 2 Alice Cooper lps are great psych rock so well worth owning. Killer did look like a nice sleeve so worth the money, even if the vinyl had some wear. Ditto with the Groundhogs. Circus LP on the wall would have had my attention and the KPM. I love The Beatles but I just don't get the multiple purchasing of the same LP, especially later pressings.
I'd have been all over that Alice Cooper, Killer LP for a fiver. Groundhogs Split was a great price. Lots of bargains to be had at Crazy Beat.
That shop looked like fun , definitely lots of cheap good albums way cheaper than Canada that’s for sure
Love your guys videos !
Good shop but they're never going to let a real bargain slip by them. But good to plug that hole in your collection
Enjoyed the video guys. I need that Groundhogs.
That Emerson, Lake & Palmer with their heads on, is on my wishlist! Damn I live here in Belgium.
Best ELP album is the first IMHO!
@@thevinylhunters With the white dove on it! I have it!
Trilogy 😎👌
Great video! What a nice Grandfather to go record shoppin' with! New sub here! Look forward to the next one!
A shop full of scratch up, sub par quality vinyl. The only lp I would have grabbed, you passed up. Alice Cooper Killer w/calender!!!! Can’t believe you didn’t jump on that one.
I know I couldn’t believe it looked so clean whenever I see a copy of it and I live here in Canada. The vinyl and jacket is always well loved. (Very used )
That album is killer ! Jake u need to listen to it
You potentially missed a bargain on a classic album. Alice's Killer looked intact with calender and the vinyl looked mint. You should have checked the year of the calender as it was changed to reflect the subsequent years it was repressed, up until 1974 I think. If it was a 1971 calender it would be a first pressing. Cant believe Poppa Dave isnt a YES fan!!!!Love watching your uploads,
Great Circus
Gong, not Hawkwind, Poppa Dave.
Great video guys
Glad you enjoyed it Steve!
I have Look at Yourself. It's not a very rare album, but the mirror cover is usually distressed .It's a good prog album and Manfred Mann is on it
The reason why Elton's 12th album is called A Single Man is because it was the first album written without Bernie Taupin who was working with Alice Cooper on the From The Inside album around the same time.
Looks like a “clean copy” of Deep Purple In Rock on the wall!
You two are the last of the big spenders. Maybe you can get some records for free.........but i imagine you already have!
The Grease Band I think were Irish Certainly they had Henry McCullough who became a go to session man and ended up in Wings The Grease Band I think became Joe Cockers touring band.Pretty sure.
Grandad should know that is NOT Elton John's 1st album especially considering he's older than even I am!!
Poppa Dave … Steve Hillage in Hawkwind ? You mean Gong don’t you ?
I would have grabbed the Fairport Convention and I think I spotted an Otis Redding album in a pile
gary dennis .....discount ? like getting blood out of a stone :)
great video
More crazy sounds Poppa Dave please.
I have not seen any of the sellers turn down an offer yet ,do you have any clips.
Guys, you’re way off with Elton John! A Single Man is his twelfth album!! 😂 and pulling records out by their edges is not a great idea, ruins the run in track. Apart from that, love your videos! 👍
Lol had me cracking up!
Yeah they don't seem to realise they're damaging albums by the way they're sliding them out of the cardboard and paper inner sleeves. Seems like good guys though and great to see young guys collecting vinyl again.
Are u guys going to spittlefeilds on the 5th ?
Jake, are you in a band? You look like you should be 👍😃
Love these videos as I can find out where some of these shops are but you seem to be always digging for the same stuff prog rock/metal
Have we found Oliver Reed's older brother?
80s thin records can sound amazing, thickness of record has nothing to do with it. '#justsayin
Hi I'm 15 and very new to record collecting..do you own any Amy winehouse albums
Poppa Dave loves Amy Winehouse!
Oh that's good 👍🏻🙏🏻
SH was in Gong,sorry.
You film as well as your love for Celine Dion....
Seriously, you don't want to stop filming so badly.
It's a shame because your videos are great.
Uriah Heeps ex-drummer.Not a lot of people know that
Ok
.New subscriber.. can you by chance invest in a gimbal or something ? Waving the camera around gave me a headache 😢😅😅
A sign saying 'No haggling' ? That really irks me :/ turning away business
I hate the way Dave holds records. Why would a collector do that?
